The planetarium is located on the edge of the Stromovka park and is very easy to find. The landing module model in front of the entrance would need a major renovation. The indoor exhibits are very nice, but some of the interactive models should be given more explanation as to what they are about. An extra entry fee is required for the shuttle model. We were also at the screening of the creation of the Earth and it was very interesting. The entire screening hall will now be closed for a year and a half and undergo a complete renovation.

I was looking forward to this, but must say it is quite boring. Maybe it is an older exhibition, but we really missed interaction. It is mainly a lot of (interesting, must say) facts to read and pictures. Would love some upgrade to more fun, more 2017. May be cool for little kids.

Really small planetarium ,nothing much to explore
Just 1 room of exhibits)you finish it in max 1 hour
However the show -night sky -was really good
I would advise to buy ticket only to show)
Staff is really good and friendly

Basically went in to hide from the heat, but really enjoyed show, most shows have English option with headphones. Staff great and very understanding as I bumbled around like a giant child, playing on the moon rover simulator and losing my ticket. Most helpful staff I met in Prague and very helpful to this idiot abroad

This is very well set out planetarium and full to the brim of interesting exhibits and items, the information stations are just outstanding and captured my attention for hours. We all loved driving the moon buggy simulator.

We visited on a cold May Saturday evening after 9pm and were virtually the only people in the building. It’s less than £3 to get in to this modern exhibition which is well laid out with bright, interesting information boards and objects. The moon rock and meteorites are awesome.

We had the good fortune to run into a lady (don’t know her name but she was there on 04.05.19) who clearly had a passion for the stars. She opened up the telescope rooms and we spent an hour with her, on our own, as she fired up both the telescopes, opened the roofs and showed us distant stars in the night sky. And she did this all in English. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.

You must go visit this place, the curators will inspire you about the universe and if you take children they’ll be enthralled.

Lovely little planetarium. Staff were very helpful. We were given a book with the information in English but it was quite a lot of reading for a short visit. Not expensive for entry.

Totalne mimo misu, velke zklamani a nevyuzity potencial.

Exhibition with zero idea, no concept, old exhibits without proper care, description. Nothing interesting to show to kids which would make sense and give an overall "space" idea. Fairy tale "Skritek a nove planetarium" was a disaster, mixing general troll story, his chocolate mania, etc. and then detailed information on the star names, troll´s unclear role in planetarium (helping with repairs but making mess at the same time - even a fairy tale can have a proper idea), zero basic information about space itself, about Earth, planet setup. Huge disappointement and wasted potential of the Prague planetarium.

I went there with my 6 year old son, and he went absolutely bananas! :) The exhibition, although might be very interesting for older children did not fascinate him very much, but he loved the movie. The program has a couple of them, actually, and the first one we went to was a Czech animation film about a little girl who met an alien from another planet. The alien took her to space and showed her the start and everything. The only problem is that the movie is in Czech. My son, of course, understood everything, but it might be difficult for a foreign person. They do show English-language movies in the dome, so if you're up for some cool experience - visit the planetarium for a movie on a 360 degrees screen.
