Freeport is a big-ish mall on the Austrio-Czech border, aimed at Austrian tourists. The bulk of the shops are high-end outlets (Adidas, Camel Active, Guess, etc....) - I'm not sure if these were cheap or not - but if you're looking for cheaper non-branded stuff, this is not the place.

One shop that stood out was a small kitchenware/kitchen appliances store which seemed to have some great bargains.

The last thing you want to do when visiting the Czech Republic is eat to much American food if you are from America, Such is the case.

Well, I found myself headed towards Vienna when I stopped by and found this large shopping mall before I hit the Austrian border. There it was...KFC. I had to stop. Granted, this is a pit stop on the way and most headed from Prague to Vienna will come up on it right before you get to the Austrian border. You can't miss it. It is the only big shopping center around on the right hand side of the road.

This was a good option for rest rooms and an interesting meal. They called it a Qurrito. It is something between a burrito and something else. Just not sure. But, gosh, it is darn good.

So, if you find yourself in Znojmo, Czech Republic, stop on in and fill up on the kind of KFC you will never find in America, you'll like it!

It's definitly the most funny but also creppy place I have ever been in. Firs I was sure, that it's kinda amusement park (becouse of all these big dinosaurs figures, castles etc).
Except weird outside, it's a good place to do shopping.

The shops are very nice and price is reasonable. The two places I liked most was the KFC restaurant and the Lindt chocolate outlet. Both are very good . The Lindt outlet is very nice and the chacolates are very well priced. And quality is of course Lindt. Awesome.!
The KFC chicken Langes were very tasty and the cappuccino coffee was excellent. The service was very good and very helpful as I neither know German or Czek language.and could speak only English. The wash rooms were clean too. An excellent and surprisingly welcome experience

Yes they have branded shop, very small thought. It used to be cool 5 years ago when you could at least find a decent pairs of trainers nike not looking too fancy.

It obvious that they get what the others outlet can't sell. You may find something but good luck.

Food over there is expensive and not the best. I would not recommend. You can go to pandorf few km further and better deals.

We usually go to Parndorf (Austria) to do our outlet shopping, but decided to give EXCALIBUR’s “Free Port” a shot for a change. We were thoroughly disappointed.

The “Free Port” outlet shopping mall in Excalibur City is – I would say – 90% sports and jeans/denim shops. Lots of stores like Nike, Adidas, Puma, Diesel, Levi’s, etc – a couple of very average high-street brands like Geox, Gaudi, Mango, Salamander – and… that’s it. If you’re looking for more elegant, interesting, and upper-end brands like Burberry, Aigner, Armani, Escada, La Perla, Prada, Trussardi, Furla… forget about it. “Free Port” doesn’t have anything like that.

Finally, I have a direct complaint about the “Regatta” store in “Free Port”: we came into the shop, saw a jacket we liked (the last in its color and size), and asked the shop assistant to reserve it and set it aside for us. He said, "no problem, sure". When we came back, less than 2 hours later, to buy it – he had sold it to someone else! Disappointing, and very unprofessional.

We are not coming back to EXCALIBUR’s “Free Port” and don’t recommend this outlet for anyone looking for non-sports/jeans brands.

Not less, not more. Different shops, limited selection. If you are looking for special deals, this is a good place for you. If you need something specific, it is risky to go here.
