I needed to visit embassy in the area so this hotel was a great choice to it's close proximity. The rooms on the photos looked nice and the price was affordable so I have booked. The hotel is in residental area with not much to do otherwise, but I didn't come to Rome for a holiday but for business so it was fine.

Hotel looked a bit tired but the receptionist was very friendly, my room was ready much earlier than the usual check in time, which was great because I was very tired. Shame the receptionist did not explain much about hotel facilities, restaurants/bars as I had no idea if there is anywhere to have lunch or a snack. I wasn't even offered to purchase additional breakfast, or explained where the main restaurant is.

Room was much smaller than I have expected, I didn't need it for much just sleeping for one night, but to move around was a bit tricky since the bed was right next to the table with a chair with very little space to walk around. Clean enough, the bed was fairly comfortable however quite small (this was a double bed, but I'm glad I stayed there alone as not quite sure how comfortable would two people be).

One thing which upset me the most was the fact that hotel bar was not open until 5pm, which mean there was nowhere to have a coffee or even a snack, I think for a 4 star hotel this is not acceptable. I know this was off season, but still, in the rooms it said the bar opens 10.30 - 5pm every day and this was not the case.

It also mentioned on the in room sign that there is room service available during regular bar/restaurant opening hours but there was no menu available in the room to have a look at. Also no coffee/tea making facilities which are usually a standard in most of hotels, even 3 star.

One person worth mentioning however was the barman Alena who was extremely nice, friendly, professional and helpful.

I have been visiting during an extremely quiet season, so it was strange to me that there weren't a a better room available. This would probably make my experience better and I would consider staying here again in the future. I know if you don't pay for a better room you shouldn't complain about it - but my opinion is that if you have a nicer room available, which is empty and unused it would be smart offering it to a first time visitor (this is never expected of course but would help making up for the lack of facilities open during my visit).

An ok place for a business stay over. Hotel is clean and breakfast was pretty ok. A big minus for the gym hours - opens 9am... obviously not intended for business travelers. Lock on hotel room door was not possible to lock from the inside and no chain either

Dear LG4KL, thank you very much for having chosen our hotel for your last stay in Rome, we have really appreciated your business. We are glad you have appreciated the room assigned and our daily breakfast. Regarding the Gym’s hours, we are in the process of changing a lot of our services and the time schedule of our Gym is one among those changes. The lock of all our rooms is a safe lock, once the door is closed from the inside, it cannot be opened from the outside, from the inside instead the door opens once the handle of the door is pushed down, this because all the room doors are anti-panic in case of an emergency. We really hope you can choose our Property for the next stay in Rome so that you can enjoy our services again. Sincerely, Alessandro S

Stayed one night as the ending hotel on a tour. Location is totally off limits in a residential area very far from the city with no attractions at all nearby. Zero, zilch, zip, nada. I blame the tour company on this issue.
Hoyle itself is not bad. Room is a bit small though. Breakfast is standard. Overall it’s not a bad hotel if you are not a tourist. It’s probably suitable for non-tourism purposes. That’s all I am saying.

I had the chance to experience the GH Fleming in my last trip in the Eternal City.
Very comfy beds and pretty good services in my very spacious room with a huge king size bed.
Breakfast is well presented, with home made cakes and more, in a large and bright Breakfast Room on the ground floor.
The gote is in a residential area only 15 minutes to the the via taxi, car sharing or public service.
I wi definitely come back with my family in the next trip to Rome.
Thanks for your help in showing me the way and the information regarding the Vatican City.

Was booked into this place by our travel company. The hotel location is not very close to the main attractions in Rome, so you either need to drive, take a bus or taxi as it is not near the metro line. Italy is rather warm in August, and the antiquated A/C unit was barely blowing any airflow, so we were very uncomfortable. A bellboy came up and smirkingly told us it felt fine to him. The desk clerk said they could do nothing about it; all rooms were the same even if they moved us, which they didn’t offer. We checked out 2 hours after we arrived, having found a better, similarly priced boutique hotel 2 blocks from Termini. You can do much better somewhere else. Still waiting for our refund from them.

An extremely expensive hotel compared to what they offer. The bathroom smells a lot to tobacco and the shower is very small. The water comes out of it and they do not refill the gel and shampoo correctly. The outside window doesn't close properly and the air conditioning does not work. The takeaway breakfast is disastrous, they give you a brick juice and an industrial curassan. In the restaurant they are extremely slow and the price is high. The beds are very small, and the elevator works really bad. In conclusion, a very poor hotel for its price.

You are made to wait for 50 minutes to check in (at midnight) while the receptionist records every detail of some 30 tourists' passport by hand; he is rued when you politely request him to expedite check-in or call in for some help (he was the only receptionist). Breakfast was a shambles; every time one got up to replenish one's coffee, the (unfinished) plates were cleared out. The place was overfull , which is perhaps the reason why. When you go to Rome give this place a miss. It is the pits.

We stayed here 3 nights. First the good stuff: nice quiet neighborhood with a full service laundry and good places to eat wailing distance. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
The bad: the air conditioner did not work. We had 2 rooms. One the air was barely blowing so we were hot all night. The second room had such a huge leak from the barely working air conditioner unit that my kids had to be moved to another room. The other room also the A/C was barely working.

Rooms were clean but AC completely inadequate. AC in all rooms is turned off for four hours each night, and when the room is already hot, it makes for a very uncomfortable room. Very small bathroom. Hotel staff is very nice. The neighborhood is fine, with good restaurants within walking distance. The pharmacy near the hotel had such nice people working! Suggest coffee shop at the coffee shop outside and to the left of the entrance.

Room small but adequate. Aircon poor.No Wi-Fi in my room and TV did not work. On last night toilet broke and water ran all night. All this was reported but with no solutions

On last evening I requested a taxi for following morning but was told to do it next morning. Next morning I requested a taxi and after five minutes waiting I was told to go across the square and find a taxi myself.Staff on reception have NO idea what customer service means
