I stayed at Park-hotel Continental for a week by myself, mid august. I booked this holiday through Balkan Holidays, flight + transfers were very straight forward. Once arrived and checked in I was shown to my room, luckily my room was clean so no complaints there. There’s no lifts but stairs to the rooms so this may not be good for some people. I was given a flyer to take with me to breakfast which states how long you’re staying for and the staff at breakfast will mark off the day, if you go. Breakfast was very disappointing and on arrival was made to put my bag to one side with other guests bags. Breakfast staff were not very happy or polite. At breakfast there was meat, cheese, bread, hot food, cereals and one choice of fruit, juice and a coffee machine. Breakfast was very limited. The hotel felt like a camp or hostel as when you have finished with your breakfast you have to scrape and clear your own plates, I’m all up for helping others and staff out but this is not something you want when you’ve paid for a holiday. I went twice out of my seven day stay. I’ve stayed in better hostels in Thailand. There’s a lot of rules around the hotel and it’s not very inviting. No snack bar but there was a pool bar - staff members at the pool bar were friendly enough and prices are cheap. Pool was also clean and I was always able to get a sun bed, can imagine if it was busier that it’s hard to get a sun bed. The parasols have also seen better days. There’s plenty of bars and restaurants and fast food around this hotel and within sunny beach. My room was small but fine for just me, very dated and carpeted which is not needed. My room was not cleaned the whole time of my stay, a cleaner would come in and take my rubbish each day and I was getting fresh towels each day until towards the end of the week and this then stopped for my last three days of my stay. The shower was always powerful and hot. Small balcony and surrounded by lovely trees. There was also a fridge in the room. I’m not one to stay at the hotel much when I’m on holiday but this hotel was very disappointing and needs a lot of work doing to it. The bus stop is across the road and it’s 2 lev to get to Old Town Nesebar which is very nice. Reception staff were helpful at the hotel. I wouldn’t particularly recommend this hotel and I wouldn’t stay here again but I guess this hotel is okay for a cheap stay/holiday but for me this was a waste of money.

Very Very poor worst holiday I've ever experienced Arrived at the Continental park Hotel 1am..14th August...Had to walk a fair distance once we had been dropped off via coach... Once booked in..Was given a large. Metal keyring with a key on it.. Next was told to walk thru an archway..turn left keep walking...No lights on to light the way..Only a figure in the distance shining a torch. Then once there..Told I had to walk up some stairs to get onto the landing were my room was located Once inside my room noticed a very distinct smell of DUST..noticed cobwebs Towels had stains on them Bed sheers we're also stained Room was very small Had x2 single beds put together Pillows were x2 cushions put in large pillowcase so completely uncomfortable.. The only resteraunt was up a spiral staircase The only bar was in the pool area Nothing but steps Only had x1 person serving...No table service.. Hence you want a beer you had to walk down x4 steps The only positive was the weather I'm completely disappointed with the hotel CONTINENTAL..was assured it was disabled friendly...Also that there would be entertainment...Both none existing Total let down....

The main hotel *** is excellent just 300 m from Rumba Beach. Restaurants around, bus connection to Aquapark and the rest of Sunny beach resort. Friendly staff speaking English, Room large and functional - fridge, tv, safe, large bathroom with large shower area, hair dryer, Rooms are cleaned, hoovered every day. The food was very good - no complains. Large and clean swimming pool surrounded by trees. It does look like the hotel is in the nature. There is a bar. The hotel has good windows so you can not hear anything form outside. Our room was situated to the road and we did not hear anything. Air condition is quiet and working. We really enjoyed our stay. It looks the hotel was updated 20 years ago and that is the reason why it is *** if it would be furnished recently they could easily rise to **** but then the price would go also up. There is a table tennis, pool table, gaming room. If I go to Bulgaria again I would book the same hotel. This place has soul. Old but good. When we were walking around we saw many new hotels with no soul - little square swimming pool behind the fence. If you are not Posh-nose up pinkie you will be not disappointed.

Very very basic hotel definitely wouldn't say it is a 3 star hotel. The rooms are very basic but always kept clean, the towels are changed daily and sheets changed regularly. No safe in the rooms but you can upgrade to ''nicer '' rooms which do have a safe. These rooms come at a very high cost in peak season so really wouldn't bother as there's better hotels in the area for the money. Also there's no WiFi in the rooms you can only pick it up in reception area. The breakfast is OK but don't expect English breakfast or pastries. Evening meal was very poor we ended up eating out most nights even though we were half board. The pool area is pretty good, plenty of sunbeds and parasols so no sunbed wars 😁. Pool area has a nice bar area but doesn't serve food. Location is good. Short walk to restaurants and bars and bus stop is right outside if you want to go into Nessebar. Which is well worth a visit. Overall wouldn't book this hotel again unless it was dirt cheap and on a bed and breakfast basis.

I stayed in hotel part of complex, rooms are big, beds are comfortable, plenty of hot water in bathroom for shower. Clean towels every day stayed 10nts bed changed once which was fine for me, Free safe and aircon. The swimming pool is lovely have swim up bar plenty of sun beds and umbrellas for everyone. The only downside to this hotel is the food they really don’t cater for the English which is a shame they need to up there game. Some of the staff in dining room are rude, they don’t replenish very quickly, not on top of there game at all, most of the food is Luke warm or cold no microwave to heat anything, salad looks nice if you like mayo because that is Squeezed over the top, I could go on and on. I would say if you go to this hotel, go b&b I took my own weetabix with me and I had toast from toast machine, there coffee from machine is nice, eat out it is cheap enough and there is lovely food in bars and restaurants. Personally i would say it’s a 2/3 star hotel because of food and rudeness of the staff in dining room staff elsewhere are nice. Bulgaria is lovely beach beautiful, all bar’s and restaurants within 5/15 minutes walk away good nite life plenty of entertainment in most bars. Would I go back to this hotel Yes I would, just letting you know the food isn’t the greatest eat out it’s cheap. Hope I covered everything I will be going back next year hopefully 🙏.

Although we were not notified that the hotel was full, we were accommodated in some rooms somewhere on the side of the hotel, not in the main hotel. The rooms smelled of mold, the bedding was dirty with blood, the lid from the toilet fell, in the shower there was sand, miserable carpeting, spiders on the walls and cobwebs, dead cockroaches in the room. After a certain hour there is no more hot water. The food at breakfast the last few days smelled spoiled. The room is quite large but very miserable and dark.

Ok , so after reading all the horrendous reviews regarding this hotel my expectations were very low and I wasn’t looking forward to my stay . I booked a last minute deal with Balkan and would be spending a fortnight here half board with my 13 year old granddaughter. At the very worst I was prepared that I would maybe have to go and stay with a friend who has a holiday apartment in Sunny Beach if conditions were as bad as the posts on Tripadvisor. . My room was located in the old part of the Hotel and yes it was a throwback to the 70s and looked like the chalets from Butlins I had room 381 and as stated there is no lift . Very helpful Porter called Ivan took our two cases to the room , no problem . Room was dated but spotless . Every day and up to the day we left we had fresh sheets and pillowcases , and also fresh towels . That honestly happened every single day up to the day we left . Only toiletries in bathroom was soap but I’m sure like me all holidaymakers bring their own . Again plenty supplies of nice soft toilet roll and the maids were really nice and always smiled . Never a problem with showers either . Always hot and although not a power shower was fit for purpose. Pool area was good and pool bar played great music all day . You could get a sunbed no matter what the time of the day and that was a real big plus for me as I have done the dreaded silly o’clock stint of reserving sunbeds on previous holidays. Although we were half board we didint use the restaurant much . 3 times maybe for dinner and I went a handful of times for breakfast whilst giving my granddaughter a lie in . Food choices were ok but we ate out most nights as the eating out in Sunny Beach is amazing and such good value . Loved the location as the beach shops , bars etc are only a couple of streets away . Bus stop is also just right outside the hotel and for 2 lev was great value .Just home today and even when leaving at 4 in the morning we were giving a bag with water, fruit , croissants to take with us , which I thought was a lovely gesture from the hotel . I honestly tried to change my booking with my travel agent and was willing to pay more to go to another hotel but as it was very last minute I didint get the option , but I went not expecting a lot , and as I said it was a last minute booking but I was not disappointed and hope this review gives some reassurance to anyone who has booked here . Please don’t assume I’m easily pleased as I do go high end holidays, cruising etc , but it was just a last minute decision to take my granddaughter a wee holiday whilst other friends would be there at the same time although in different accommodations. Would I book again ? Wouldn’t rule it out if there was a bargain to be had , but my first choice would be a good self catering apartment as the beach is stunning and the restaurants for eating out are just fantastic

Cockroaches were in the room, directly close to bed, poor quality of accomodation, mildew in the bathroom. Staff did not solve it at all, only they use some insecticid, but next night the cocroach was there again. Old building, hard socialism.
