After Visiting Praha Zoo. Travel to Holesovice. Heard Good Reports of Cafe Lajka. Was nor Dissatisfied. You need to Book in Advance Though. Very Popular. Especially when the Nearby College Day finishes. Tables Outside. Inside All Reserved. Had just about Fifteen Minutes. Before College Finishes....Had Delightful Honey Cake. With Good Quality Latte. Service was Good. Art Students arrive. Can Understand Why it gets Busy. On Return will Book Ahead.More

This was a nice, quiet place with great beer. We came as part of a beer tour, and it was a nice stop. The appetizers were okay, and it had a really nice atmosphere.

Been here with a friend. We enjoyed a lot the craft beer(they have other drinks, too) they offer. The neighborhood is very quiet, calm. Also, the name of this brewery/cafe is truly special :)

The bar is located uphill in Letny area. The area is not touristy. They offer more than 8 craft beers on tap (including great Double IPA and one IPA, APA). You can sit outside (2-3 tables) and inside they have plenty of sitting area. Service...is great! Recommend to include in your craft beer tour in Prague.More

Located in quiet area, at least at daytime, the place has its own calming charm. Simple menu and fine selection of beer for reasonable prices. Enjoyed the service too

Came here for a beer tour with Urban Adventures. I really liked the laid-back, relaxed vibe of this place. It felt like somewhere I would come if I actually lived here. We tasted beers from the oldest brewery in Czech Republic (Břevnovský klášterní pivovar): Benedikt...12° (light lager) and Klášterní IPA 15°. We also had their local spread and czech sausage (párky).More

This café is kind of "hidden" in the streets of attractive area close to Stromovka park and Letná. It has nice, intimate atmosphere and has enough places to sit and relax. Staff is friendly, bringing you the great Czech beer Únětice and some of the...local food products. The café is also a part of social project helping homeless people and hosts cultural events. Good place for a date :-)More

One of the best cafes at Letna. Doubleshot coffee, very friendly staff, fast internet... It's neither sterile nor homey, just a perfect in between. Food-wise, there's definitely place for improvement.

This place is about people who spend there time. Great coffee, good beer, cool interior are just additional things, which make the place so fine.

Cool place, good Czech beer, nice atmosphere and friendly personal. Worth a stop either on the way to or back from Stromovka park, but don't eat the food, the veggie burger is just terrible.

Cafe Lajka is a nice and stylish place right next to Prague's biggest park, Stromovka. Ideal venue for a beer after walking the dog! :)

My friend appreciated the selection of spirits, I did of beers (though no wheat). Place allows dogs in, sometimes they get noisy. Shower in the toilet area is a nice touch for those cycling in.

It is a light, fresh and friendly cafe with two rooms and a basement where are performing various groups and individuals. In the room on right side you can find a piano and net swings. The decorations and paintings on the wall are also interesting....Coffee on scale from 1-10 is solid 9. My wife had her usual cappuccino and for me they prepared bombardino, a drink originated from Tirol. It consists of eggnog, rum, milk and whipped cream and is hot. Delicious. The patrons are usually young people. Across the cafe is Stromovka, the largest park in Prague. We visited this place to celebrate friend's birthday, so probably they accept reservations.More

I have been passing this cafe which opened last year every day on my way to Stromovka park, so I decided to give it a shot today. The space is really big, nice, open, bright, though rather empty - just chairs and tables and some...swing chairs (wow!) in the adjacent room (I have learnt there is also a club in the basement which I did not visit). The location is perfect (close to the Academy of Arts and Stromovka, the biggest park in Prague), so it seems ideal for grabbing a quick coffee (which they take from the Doubleshot, a trendy Czech coffee roasting company) and just sip it in the park. Though my expectations were high, the cafe did not really meet them. It took the waiter ages to prepare one cafe latte and unfortunately he burned it while making it so I had to add a good deal of sugar to make it work, though I normally drink latte without sugar. When asked about artificial sweetener, the waiter gave me a lecture in a rather arrogant manner on how they did not have it because "it is not really good for your health". I replied that I am a type 1 diabetic so it is not a matter of choice for me and I continued by asking him whether the company might re-think their policy since it would be really great to have some more options in what I put into my coffee. He replied that they might, since the sweetener dos not cost that much (no kidding, he really said so :) Then he continued by saying that my doctor should have told me that... Well, by this point, I stopped listening to him since he clearly did not know anything about a) my condition, b) making coffee, c) treatment of the customer. It is really pity, I liked the idea of buying coffee there on my daily stroll to the park. I also like the minimalist concept of the caffe but clearly there is a lot of space for improvement. So I cannot really recommend it and would rather walk farer to other coffee houses like Mamacoffee, Alchymista or Kiddo nearby which also have coffee to go and better attitude.More
