Locorotondo is situated between Martina Franca and Alberobello in the valle d'Itria, that is a green countryside dotted with cone-roofed trulli houses. It is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Locorotondo doesn't have any specific tourist attractions, the town itself is the main sight .
The historic part of town is circular and goes to the top of a hill.It has a maze of whitewashed buildings with baroque archways. There are a few churches, the most notable is a romanesque church Della Madona dela Grece, from the 12-13th century.
The best view is from the top of the town.

Beautiful setting, whitewashed houses and limestone pavements (and best of all no cars!) - worth a quick visit on your way to Polignano da Mare

Very nice village, the main sightseeing is the village itself. Views to valley di Itria and the vineyards. Many restaurants in the village and very nice experience to stroll Locorotondo. Go there for a stroll. Dedicate 1-2hours there.

This place is no longer open -- it's closed and the building is for sale. We walked a few miles to get there, so were disappointed -- but needed the exercise after a delicious lunch at Evo in Alberobello.

We visited the Cantina on a recommendation and were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by Oronzo who was the perfect guide. Not only did he give us a most informative tour of the winery but also an insight into the wine culture of the region and much more. He was so knowledgable and pasiionate about his region and it's culture. I can highly recommend a tour as it brings a different dimension to ayour visit to Puglia.

Such a charming, romantic little white town with meandering alleys and narrow pedestrian only streets, flower boxes, twinkle lights. I want to see what's around every corner . Every restaurant is appealing with sidewalk tables, shabby chic decor

We spent two nights in a Trulli close this beautiful town. On Palm Sunday there was a craft fair in the historic district. We enjoyed shopping the wares of local artists. The is a very beautiful village.
