Absolutely disgusting customer service.

Booked in my mum and girlfriend for a spa treatment, I asked twice on the phone during booking do we need to bring the voucher or anything else and got told "no just your bathing suit".

Fast forward to the day and I wake up from night shifts to my mum and girlfriend not having a relaxing time but instead stressing because they all of a sudden needed a copy of the voucher, had to pay double what was originally paid.

I rang up and spoke to a lady named Layla who was very helpful and polite and has issued a refund now the voucher has been accepted when I rang up again.

5 days waiting for 150 quid because of one of your member of staffs mistakes, and on top of that it being a stressful experience and not relaxing is an absolute joke with how expensive everything is at the minute.

It took 4 days of ringing to get through to the spa to book in the first place, tried to ring the hilton hotel section but they cant be bothered to walk 2 minutes down the hallway to ask them to pick up the phone.

If you are going to spend money on a spa/relaxing day do not use this place because you will be more stressed by the end of it. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the people involved.

A friend and I visited the Eforea spa for a special treat, considering we paid £90 each we weren't overly impressed. Upon booking the spa, over the phone, I made it aware of my friend's severe peanut allergy. When seated for afternoon tea, the bar staff had no idea of this, it had not been communicated to them. Luckily, we mentioned it out of caution. However, if we had not and trusted it had been communicated, my friend could have become extremely poorly. Despite the miscommunication, the afternoon tea was good. it is a shame no one mentioned to us upon booking about adding prosecco, as we'd have enjoyed that. We were told someone would come and get us to take for our treatments. However, it was obvious no one was coming, luckily we took ourselves otherwise we'd have missed them. Our treatments were amazing, the reason for the 3/5. I had a back massage, unfortunately I didn't get her name as I would have liked to give her a special mention. The facilities are nice, it is a shame there isn't enough sunbeds. A few tiles had fallen off in the hot tub, but other than that it was a nice sized spa, that wasn't overly busy.

We thought we had booked for the spa and massage during our stay but due to a communication mix up. We were only booked to use the swimming pool/spa.
The receptionist did allow us an extra hour in the spa as we were disappointed.

The cost of the spa is not included in the price of the hotel. It costs £25.00 each to use the pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and cold shower for an hour.

Shocking really. This was on top of £205 for one night in the hotel with breakfast and £23 to park overnight.

We were given slippers, a good towelling dressing gown and a large bath sheet to use in the spa but whilst we were in the steam room and shower, staff from the spa cleared away our towels etc. As a result my partner had to go to reception in his wet swimming costume for more towels - nightmare!

The spa wasn’t good at following Covid guidance. The changing rooms are small and there were 6 of us in there including me. It didn’t appear clean either.

The best thing was the steam room, really relaxing until the pump kicked in to produce the steam!!

Such a pity the spa like the hotel was really disappointing.

best spa facilities and treatments with the friendliest staff. grace on reception made me and my daughter feel so welcome into the spa making sure we were happy with our experience throughout the day. we then had our treatments by Clare and Niamh who couldn't do enough for us. the treatments were tailored to our individual needs. social distancing measures were in place. will defiantly be returning and next time try the afternoon tea.

We used the spa as part of our Virgin Experience voucher and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were treated well. Greeted with a smile at reception, we were shown into the lounge (as we needed to complete some paper work). A calm and tranquil environment with complimentary beverages- cold fruit infused water and a variety of teas. As per our voucher we had one 25 minute treatment each, these are indicated on the paperwork.

From the lounge we were given a robe, slippers and towel. The young lady from reception gave us a tour of the facilities and advised us of the protocols. Once changed we were to wait in the transition suite for our therapists to collect us.
The transition suite was a quiet, ambient room to relax. We were then met my friendly staff who discussed our treatments with us before they began. After being totally relaxed after our treatments (facial and back massage), we went through to the pool area which consisted of a warm pool, hot spa, steam room and sauna.

About an hour later we got changed and went back up to reception where we were offered further drinks. There was only one cup out and so the reception staff offered and brought us larger cups and a teapot. We were not rushed at all and nothing was too much trouble.

I cannot recommend this spa highly enough and the staff were all brilliant. I would not hesitate in booking to go back again. I would like to say a massive thank you to everybody there!

A perfect experience.
All the girls was lovely especially Claire, who was very welcoming and professional.
She delivered an excellent neck, back and shoulder massage and held great conversation throughout ensuring I was comfortable and overall made us feel welcome!
The spa itself is beautiful and an exceptional value for money.

Very disappointed this spa is not as advertised. We was staying in the Hilton hotel and thought we would treat ourselves to the heated indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The swimming pool was definitely not heated I understand it being cold for it to help your body but then it shouldn’t be advertised as a heated one it was freezing. One of the jets in the pool didn’t turn on at all and the one that was turned on had no power to it. In the jacuzzi it was dirty, the water was very mucky and the tiles were coming off it. Also it was pointless being in it as half of the jets didn’t work and the ones that did again literally had no power to them. The sauna and the steam room where okay but again wasn’t the cleanest. Overall I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning. It is not as advertised in the slightest and half of the stuff doesn’t work and it’s not very hygienic.

I was staying at the DoubleTree Liverpool last night, 12th August, and thought I would treat myself to the spa as I had never been to a spa before. The cost is £25 but diamond members get it for £15.

I paid the money and was given a towel, I did get a towel and was pointed where to go. I did kind of expect a bit of a tour as I had never been to a spa before, but it seems I was expecting too much.

They do have lockers where you can put your things, but lots of them were broken so took a while to find one that worked.

I went in the pool which was very nice and the lighting was lovely. I then got out and went to try the vitality room where the water is about 37 and they have beds in it. It sounds lovely but when I saw the state of the water I didn’t bother. It was absolutely rank. The local canal was cleaner. I did take pictures and a video but not sure if you can upload videos to reviews.

I left the spa and spoke to the lady on reception who said that it gets cleaned and filtered regularly throughout the day and it’s probably like that because it’s the end of the day.

Firstly, being the end of the day should make no difference as we all pay the same price and secondly, I don’t believe that the vitality room has been cleaned in weeks for it to get to the state it was in.

I did get my money back which was one thing.

Before paying I would ask to see the facilities beforehand to see if it’s clean.

Had a dynamic resurfacing facial by Jo. She was fantastic! I had booked in with her earlier than the rest of my party, and my aunty agreed she was fantastic when she had her later on also.
She was very professional and we had a good laugh throughout the treatment. She was really good at making me feel relaxed. And my skin was like brand new when I left.
Would highly recommend anyone to visit her and have this treatment. I will definitely be back when I’m back in town. Thanks Jo!

We went to elfora spa yesterday for a massage me and my cousin had yamile. She was excellent; firm back massage, great scalp and neck massage. She always checked if I was comfortable. She has great technique that is much more in line with more expensive spa venues. She's a gem! Would definitely recommend Yamile 10/10
