May family (wife and three kids ages 13, 8, 7) had an incredible time on a chocolate and pastry walking tour with Marion. We visited many sweets spots in the 17th and also a store selling honey. Marion was very knowledgeable and picked out delicious treats for us to try. The shopkeepers seemed to recognize her and appreciated our visit. They were all very gracious in talking to us about their products and stores and some even gave us extra treats. We particularly liked talking to the proprietor of the honey shop as she was so enthusiastic about her products. The walk itself, which is more like a leisurely stroll, is also a nice way to see part of the 17th, including near Batignolles, which is a quaint and beautiful part of the city we may not have seen otherwise.

Our baking class with Aurélie was one of our favorite experiences in Pairs. Aurélie welcomed us into her beautiful apartment and taught us how to made three delicious French desserts (fruit tart, madeleine, chocolate caramel cakes). She was kind, patient and even talked about the French culture. I highly recommend this experience as it made our trip to Paris so memorable!

We had such a great time on our food tour with Camille! She gave us a personalized tour through the markets to collect items for our picnic in the park, touched on Paris history and culture, and made us feel very welcome! She was very friendly, responsive, and flexible with our requests and catering to me being 5 months pregnant. She even went above and beyond and gave us more of local’s guide to sights and activities and tips to avoid more of the tourist traps. Would highly recommend!

This is the third experience I have booked with Succulent Paris and each one has been a real treat. This time my husband, son and his wife enjoyed a movable feast in the Marais orchestrated by Marion. We had a wonderful and informative time at the open air market selecting cheeses, charcuterie and pates for a picnic in the park and then enjoyed exploring all kinds of sweet treats (chocolates, fruit pates, choux, macarons, caramels) One of the highlights was a bistro lunch at Chez Elo where we had yummy open-faced sandwiches accompanied by a crisp, cold rose (perfect on such a hot day!).

This was the perfect experience to augment our first family visit to Paris. Aurélie was a wonderful instructor and gracious host. My wife and daughter had made macarons a number of times before, but the instruction left us with plenty of notes for future baking. Whether you're a baking enthusiast or a first-timer, I'd highly recommend this experience!

What an amazing experience. A must do. We were not sure what to expect but this ended up being one of best experiences in Paris. We learned so much. Our guide was Camille. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much about French culture, history and food. Being in the 17th gave us more of an authentic feel for the city and food. Tastes of quiches, meats, cheese, baguette, chocolate, macaroon, coffee, etc. All during a wonderful walk and then a picnic in park. Paris is amazing for the green space. Camille went above and beyond. It really felt like walking with family. She also gave us other ideas on what to do and see. A definite must do.

We experienced the St. Germain district with our wonderful guide Auriele. We enjoyed several Chocolatiers, a visit to the Market where we picked our bread and meats for a short snack in the park and we had a wonderful Hot Chocolate beforehand (since our group didn't drink coffee). We visited a Olive Oil shop for the tasting of several different oils. We then had a wine and cheese tasting in a quaint wine cellar. We loved her Informative and enthusiastic manner and we highly recommend her. Such a great time.

Our travel agent booked this tour for us and at first we were skeptical about what kind of tour we were going to get. We have to say, the tour was spectacular!! Our guide was Marion. She was very knowledgeable and excited to share her favorite shops with us. She led us through the 17th district to sample pastries, chocolates, cheese, meats, honey, and of course bread! She even had everything that we needed for a quaint picnic in a nearby park. I had made a comment that while I was in Paris I wanted to visit the Poilâne bakery. Turns out, Marion knew the shop and it happened to be one of her favorites!! Our 16 year old son said this was the highlight of his trip to Paris. We couldn’t agree more! Thank you Marion for a very special day our family will remember for years to come!

My wife and I did a food tour with Camille. She took us to a few great boulangeries and patiserries, a local covered market, a boutique honey shop, and an exquisite chocolatier. In between, she provided some great historical background on the city. All of the food was excellent and Camille provided some great advice on how to spend the rest of our day. We would highly recommend this experience!

Like meeting a friend in Paris!
We did the afternoon market tour and we can’t say enough about the experience! Camille was just lovely to spend time with, and as she has spent time in the US and is a dual citizen, she is in a unique position to point out the similarities and differences in the cultures.
We walked the market and stopped and sampled from about 6 authentic shops. She bought several cheeses, quiche, bread and pastries and ended in a park with a picnic.
We were also in the position of having a wheelchair, and Camille adapted the tour so we would not lose out on experiencing the feel of a traditional Parisian gastronomy experience!
