First of all i'll start with the negatives, in my opinion it was a little overpriced considering there were only two activities, the headset you got for the movie was to small and you could hardly hear the talking even on the highest volume. The miniature paris was cool but too small and some of the lights didn't work.
The movie was great and you saw all the main features of Paris in great detail.
I would recommend going here if you want some time out from the busy crowds in paris.

My husband and I went to Le Nouveau Film Paris Story on our first full day in Paris. We found the film to be very helpful during our visit as it prepped us for the exhibits we were going to be seeing during our visit to Paris. We arrived just as the movie was beginning and they have headsets so that anyone can watch the movie at anytime regardless of language.

The movie was great and summed up Paris pretty well ... If you want to know the facts & figures about the whole of Paris then you won't be disappointed watching this.

The film starts on the hour - there's not a lot to see and do in the foyer before the film starts so best to arrive close to the start. The film itself is a nice summary of the history of Paris, with more detailed descriptions of some of the buildings etc and some lovely photography, aerial views etc. We watched the 3pm showing in January which was very quiet!

This hour long film gives a great introduction to Paris her history and her architecture, It gives the newly and first arrived a bit of an idea of what to expect and some references for their tour, I have taken three newcomers to Paris to this first up and they all commented on how it helped them get Paris in the frame for their tour,
Dont be put off by the entry down the stairs and the rather over heated foyer. There are audio translations in every chair for a number of languages.

Have been to other cities with similar themed movies about their history....this one was one of the more disappointing. It was 11€ which us way too much, should only be 5 max because of the quality. A school group visited just before us but during our showing it was an audience if two. If you have time, want to get a but if history of Paris then do it....but reading sound history overview might be a better choice.

I expected much more information regarding the actual history of Paris. During the entire movie I felt anxious because I felt like it was wasting precious time. I chose to do this because I thought it would give my 12 and 214 year old some background on Paris so that they would enjoy our further sightseeing that much more. This wasn't the case. t wouldn't recommend it.

I found the film about the history of Paris interesting, although there were a few gaps - evidently, WWII never happened in Paris. The theatre was nearly empty when we were there, which was a good thing, given that we had to scramble to try a dozen headsets before we found two that worked. The "interactive" part is a model of the city in the lobby; press a button, and a light for that landmark lights up. However, the print was small, and it was difficult to match a landmark with its button. If you have a Paris Pass, this would be an OK way to spend an hour, and/or if you speak fluent French, which would allow you to skip the headsets. For the 20 Euro we paid to watch this, we could have bought a good picture book, or for even less, could have read the Wikipedia history of Paris over coffee in a cafe.

We stopped by this attraction as a break from the sightseeing. The movie was good but got bogged down at times. At one point, I glanced over at my sons were were sound asleep. A good idea but they need to amp up the excitement factor. On the plus side, my sons were very refreshed after their nap and I learned a lot about Paris!

We had the theatre to ourselves.

I found that the presentation was boring at the beginning. It finally got interesting when it reached Napolean.

The Paris Story entails the start of Paris to its current district set up. If you have time, this is worth a look at.
