This looks just like the mini Giralda. It has some beautiful bells and a fantabulous tower. Recommend it.

The main altar in the Church of San Pedro is quite impressive because it has plenty of art. It was
the work of Felipe and Dionisio de Rivas. There is an image of San Pedro that was created by Andres de Ocampo in 1591. There are scenes from the life of the saint also. Above there is the image of the Virgen de la Asuncion and on top there is a crucifix.

The San Pedro Church is located at Calle Doña María Coronel, 1. The style of the church is Gothic-Mudejar and it was built in the 14th century at the Plaza San Pedro. The church has three naves that are separated by pointed arches over pillars that support the wooden ceilings that call attention. The presbytery at the central nave has two wooden pulpits. There are two doorways built in the 17th century. There is a tall tower with a square shape and the lower part has a Mudejar design while the upper part has both a square shape and above it there is an octagonal shape and this has the bells. There is a spire with an octagonal shape and has ceramic tile, a work of Martin Infante. This is the second highest tower in the city, after the Giralda. The main altar dates to the 17th century and was the work of Felipe and Dionisio de Rivas. There is an image of San Pedro that was created by Andres de Ocampo in 1591. There are scenes from the life of the saint also. Above there is the image of the Virgen de la Asuncion and on top there is a crucifix.

The façade at Calle Santa Angela de la Cruz has a Mudejar design. There are three circular stained glass windows. The center shows San Pedro and the lateral ones show San Pablo and San Jose. This facade has a mannerist design and has two parts and made of white stone, and this was built in 1612. The second facade is also mannerist and designed by the architect Diego Lopez Bueno and executed by Diego de Quesada. This is adjacent to the Plaza de San Pedro and has a statue of San Pedro created by Martin Cardino in 1624.

If you’re wanting to pay respects to Spain’s most famous Old Master, you must visit this small but fine church where he was baptized in 1599. There is a plaque dedicated to the occasion. It’s easy to pop into and walk around if you’re nearby to visit the popular Metropol Parasol. The tiles are lovely and well-kept.

We chanced upon this Roman catholic church which was built in the 14th century and is to be found in the Plaza de San Pedro, when walking in beautiful Seville and couldn't resist going in. There were some beautiful statues and altars here which I hope my photos will encourage you to visit here yourself

We walked by this ancient looking church this Saturday, last day of our Seville visit and decided to go in to offer thanks for a wonderful trip (the forecasted rain never fell on any of the 5 days since being here) and pray for safe passage home. There was a gathering of formally dressed locals outside perhaps attending a baptism? The inside is beautiful though many altars were behind locked metal bars. To prevent vandalism/ theft? A sad sign of the world today. It’s calming to spend a few moments in this nice temple of God.

I love this church. If you go the Las Setas or El Rinconcillo you must pop in here. The tiles and the decorations are outstandingly beutiful. The alter is as good as anything you will see in Sevilla Cathedral.

The week before Semana Santa the church displays two floats from its brotherhood

Iglesia de San Pedro has an interesting mix of styles with an impressive Mudejar style tower with Baroque looking addition on the top for the bell-tower. Facade is mostly brick with good Mudejar windows. Interior is plain except for the highly decorated gold alter-piece. Several attractive fine gold screens in the nave with paintings contained in each of the sections of the screen.

It is a hidden jewel of Seville, with an interesting style - mudejar - and an impressive altar. The church should be visited if it happens to be in the area.
