Came across this monument while waiting for the Madrid bus tour. Didn’t know what it represented till checking trip advisor, as there was no local notice. Well designed though and reasonably impressive, but don’t make a special journey to find it.

This monument stands in tribute to the Spanish Constitution of 1978. One of the most momentous event of modern Spanish history when the country transitioned from a dictatorship to a democracy.
A major event like this and the best the city could come up with is this concrete cube that does not say anything and pretty ugly at that. Do not recommend wasting time visiting it when there are so may great monuments in Madrid to see.
