where exactly is the Palace?> i cant find the details only ferry trips. please can you give me a link with prices, times of opening etc please? Many thanks

Exactly is in Lake Maggiore. You would go to Stressa, which is a lovely typical small Italian town. Along the center of the town, you would see the marina and there are a lot of parking spaces. You would take a 10 minute boat ride to "Isola Bella" €15 euros round trip. I believe it was €17 or €18 for visiting the palace and gardens. We did not need reservations for either the boat ride or to visit the palace.
Take note that there are 3 islands. They would ask you if you want to go to the 3 islands and if you have time it may be nice. We opted to only go to Isola Bella and take our time there. There are a few cute restaurants in the island.
