    Iconic stadium
went to the depeche mode concert here last Friday. Incredible atmosphere at the gig and very well organized. Outside the stadium it was a carnival atmosphere with plenty of food and drink stalls playing depeche mode and 80s music. 2 minutes walk from the metro stop.Only downsize was lack of toilets outside

You must visit a match at the San Siro for an unforgettable experience!
Went to Inter v Monza on 19 August. San Siro is a must see for any football fan, absolutely incredible atmosphere. Getting into the stadium and to our seat was stressful though, so make sure you try and arrive with plenty of time. When they checked our tickets, they asked for ID proof with the ticket so make sure you have that. It was a nightmare trying to find our seats as there were no stewards and poor signage! But eventually we found someone to ask who vaguely showed us. If you're a tourist like me, sit in the side section as then you can watch and appreciate the hardcore fans behind the goal who have these amazing flags. And enjoy the football of course. But it's about enjoying a new experience, which Inter / AC Milan will definitely give.

An amazing idea for every football fan
A great place for football lovers, especially AC Milan fans. You can get there by tram nr 8 from Piazza di Santa Maria delle Grazie 2. This is the last stop. You can visit San Siro museum as well as be a part of AC Milan fan club sitting and admaring stadium.

    AC vs Inter - Incredible!!
Visited the San Siro for the Milan Derby - what an experience! The stadium is very easy to get to on the Metro. The stadium itself is not the most modern, we were sat in the upper area (careful if you have vertigo/fear of heights! it is soo high!!) the seating is also not very well marked. Please note that when you enter the stadium you will need to bring ID along with your ticket. The queues for drinks and toilets can be very very long, so try not leave it to half time. The game however was incredible! Never experienced at atmosphere like it. Once a game is over, the rush to get the Metro is madness! Be careful

    Iconic
Iconic! Went to the AC game last week, great experience in an iconic stadium. The stadium is dated and I can see why AC are moving but the history around the place will forever be unmatched.

    Insane in the best way
Wow wow wow! If you have an opportunity to attend a game, you must! We caught the Inter Milan Vs Roma game in October. The crowd was almost more interesting than the match itself! My ears are still ringing haha. Get there early. Be prepared for confusion getting into the stadium. And also leaving (they only had one subway entrance open). It’s wild, but it’s a great experience!

    An iconic stadium
We visited here during July when unfortunately both teams were touring abroad otherwise we would have certainly took in a game. As we couldn't we settled on a self guided tour of one of the most famous stadiums in world football, taking in the changing rooms, the museum and out onto the pitch (although that was restricted as a concert was being set up). It isn't as polished as other stadiums I've been to (Camp Nou for example) but just on the walk up to it you feel as though you are part of footballing history and for any fan of football its a no brainer.

Greatest Stadium in Italy, probably Europe, maybe the World
I visited Stadio Giuseppe Meazza expecting to find it in a bad way. I didn’t (although the bars and toilets are a bit shabby). And yet its days are apparently numbered. The decision to award the American firm Populous with a contract to build the ground's replacement is indicative of humankind's profligacy and appetite for novelty – for building anew for its own sake. To say that the Giuseppe Mezza is no longer 'fit for purpose' is defeatist, inarticulate, lazy and patently untrue. The structure is sound, the viewing angles are perfect and there's more room for manoeuvre than there is in many newer grounds (it is after all a UEFA Category 4 accredited stadium). If an architect can't find a way to put in place whatever amenities are supposedly lacking then they're not much of an architect. Moreover, if anybody makes a claim for sustainability, they're having a laugh. The environmental and economic impact of tearing down and disposing of a ground of this size will be massive, not to mention the cost of putting in place the foundations for what follows. And if you think I’m being naïve, cynical or overly romantic, then consider this. Stadio Giuseppe Meazza might be the most iconic and recognisable stadium in Europe. In an age where branding counts for so much, what sense does it make to get rid of it?

Went to milan to watch a game of Inter Milan, however game got cancelled due to the virus. Went the following day to get a tour of the stadium, however told by staff that the stadium is closed. When asked questions about when it will be open again etc.. Staff walked away without answering questions.

This is my fourth visit as an opposing football fan .. trying to give the San Siro a chance to be dragged into the 21st century .. No change ! This is quite possibly the worst experience for an away european fan as possible,, Treated like dogs .. searches three times on the way in .. no facilities and i mean NO facilities . Having to wait an hour after the game before being let loose. By which time the trains from the station had stopped running and you are left to walk or get an inflated uber ( 80 euros for a 10 minute ride ) We took 3 1/2 hours to get back to our hotel .. local time was 2.15am . There was more but gives you a rough idea..
Never again .. broke me this time ..

All the football fans know that watching your favorite team's match (AC Milan) at the stadium (SAN SIRO) is a hundred times more interesting than doing it at home or cafe.
the atmosphere was awesome with Italians.
loved it.

This was my third visit to this old iconic stadium and it still delivers that special stadium feeling. There's rumours now that it will be demolished at some point to make way for a brand new stadium which will be sad.
From the outside it's a wonderful sight and looks absolutely awesome and colossal - which it actually is. The time to enter the stadium can be vastly improved as there's to many checks to gain entry and the strange entrance a long way from the actual turnstiles is hard to find. Once in there's that horrible long walk up it's spiralling concourse which is hard on the legs - however, there's a lift you can use if you have mobility problems.
Once you find your seat there's no issues having a grand view of the pitch especially if you're high up in the stands. The atmosphere at the game was electric with the Milan fans making a lot of noise and having a great mural show at kick off.
Watching the game is not the cheapest around, the away ticket price was 68£ but I knew some people who's tickets were 99£ and 124£ who went to the game and were situated at the Milan end of the stadium.
Overall it was a fabulous evening apart from the result for my team. That's three visits here now and three defeats, so maybe the new stadium when it comes along will change my luck?

Having watched Italian football in my teens a trip to the San Siro was well worth the trip, a short taxi ride from the centre of Milan. The tour is self paced, you start with the Museum which has an excellent range of shirts from former greats and history of the Milan teams and stadium.
Next was the changing rooms, Milan was closed due to the Italy Spain game, but the Inter changing room was open and as expected, but not that spectacular and quite small compared to the modern stadiums. Still good to get a feel of the players experience. Then you walk the tunnel to the dug out and pitch side, it is quite an awe inspiring stadium, one of the greatest in history for some of the events and people who have played / performed there. Well worth a visit.

We visited the San Siro as massive football fans from Newcastle in England. We were told once we had paid the full amount (€60) that the pitch had construction going on the pitch for a concert so we wouldn’t be able to see the grass. This wasn’t a problem but being charged full price wasn’t ideal. We found the tour a bit fast and drab if we’re honest and the stadium was a bit underwhelming inside.

The most impressive part was seeing the stadium from outside. Stick to that experience and save €30/person
The museum is a joke and in the following 45 minutes all you do is visit the non-impressive changing rooms and see the pitch.
A stadium that is home to two of the best teams in Europe must be full of stories, but the guide just talked practicalities of how they coexist here.

The museum was good and there were lots of things available to see which were interesting however the “tour” itself was the absolute bare minimum. Got to see some billboards, the inter dressing room, and then the pitch and have a wander in the stands. Not to mention the fact the pitch was only half laid at the time. Very poor value for €30, terrible compared to other stadium tours. There was also no guide to take you round on the tour, it was wholly self-guided.

I already had high hopes for my tour of this fantastic stadium; however I did not expect just how good the experience was.

My Fiancée and I went for the private tour as opposed to the standard tour. For only around an extra €10 - the difference was unbelievable. We started off alongside others doing the standard tour in the museum before everyone else was called to move on to the next step. We, however, had a further 10 minutes to take in the Museum with nobody else around us.

We then progressed onto the dressing rooms which again was just myself, my fiancée and our tour guide. Plenty opportunities to get pictures/videos without worrying about others. Alessio, our tour guide, even went above what was required. For example, when we made it to the main stand, he took us further up to show us the private boxes and where the club officials sit during the game.

If you are interested in doing the stadium tour I cannot stress enough - DO THE PRIVATE TOUR!

This will be my number one recommendation to friends and football fans alike.

Visited here for the AC Milan v Napoli game and the stadium itself is very impressive with great atmosphere. It is however let down massively by the awful facilities there. The toilets are absolutely disgusting, the ladies are mostly squat toilets which I found bizarre for a country such as Italy. They also have no soap, water or toilet paper. The men’s toilets are few and far between and considering the capacity of the stadium, this creates an awful crush trying to get in. They also have a smoking ban, which nobody follows so it can get tiresome having everybody around you chain smoking for 90 minutes! Getting to the stadium was easy via the metro but unfortunately this closes after the game with no warning, leaving us to walk 30 mins towards our hotel before they opened it again. We did enjoy visiting the stadium but wouldn’t visit again due to the issues above.
