Awful service, very bad experience. Had alot of damages in my kitchen even the appliances. Also made a huge mistake they cut two sinks on two surface 😩. Had to return them back on my own experience 😡 after 7 months im still waiting for hinges to arrive of the kitchen cupboards 😩😩😩 The customer service is not providing support and help and they bounce you from one reference person to the other, without providing a solution and they also tell you that they are going to call you and they don't,!!!! And becides that we are in 2022 and they don't communicate with you by email 😩😩😩
I surely will never again purchase from Mondo Convenienza. So overall, I would rate the following:
Price : good
Service: extremely poor and taking the mickey out of you.
You maybe might save some euros, but is it really worth the troubles, issue and waste of time ?

We vacationed in September in Sicily. On arrival at the Catania airport we had to wait for 2 hours to pick up our rental car as the lines were long and the help was minimal. We rented a Series 3 Audi and were directed to pick up our car in the lot. When we searched there was no car so I asked and was told it was in an adjacent lot, where I found a car that was dirty. We took it anyway and drove from there directly to Cefalu, near Palermo. When we arrived at our hotel we noticed steam coming from the engine compartment. We had it checked by the hotel guard and found it was overheated and the oil level was so low it could not even be read on the dipstick. I called Europcar and they sent a truck to pick up the car, and advised me to go to local Europcar office in Cefalu to get a replacement. They said they would pay for a taxi to get me there. This issue took nearly the whole afternoon as the folks in Cefalu were on siesta. When I got to the office the guy working there refused to reimburse me for the taxi even though I had a receipt from the taxi driver. Then he told me all he had available was a Fiat 500 stick shift. I reluctantly took it with the promise that it would be replaced when another was available. That took 3 days, and then we were given an Opel. This whole affair was not what we expected as we reserved a luxury car and now were driving a subcompact, plus we had waited a lot of time we were hoping to spend touring and not working to get a rental. Finally we returned the car at Catania and the guy there also refused to reimburse me for the taxi in Cefalu. When I rented the car initially I paid extra for the agency to fill the tank. Now I was upset as my plan was to use one car for the week and return it on empty so they could fill it and we would be even. That never happened. I had to file a complaint with Europcar when I got home and wait months for it to be adjudicated. They will credit me with 80 euros for a rental I paid 700 euros to rent! Never again for Europcar. Any American company is better than the lousy service I got from Europcar. Beware if you use them in Sicily..

In contrast to many other Sicilian Centres,Catania makes you think the locals are more forward- thinking rather then being tied to memories of the past. having said that they have every reason to be proud of their past, especially their cultural heritage, after all, this is the home of composer Vincenzo Bellini and writer Giovanni Verga. Add to this the rich architectural evidence around you which includes archeological beauties and you gawk at such marvels as the Teatro Greco, the Duomo, the church of San Nicolo, the Benedictine monastery and the many fabulous palazzos that dazzle and bedazzle - all within an easy stroll from the Port and the most amazing market anywhere.
The port area is as fascinating as ports get.

A stone throw away from Catania airport, this shopping mall really has it all. Won't be disappointed if you want to spend a day shopping here. Highly recommended.

This was a very disappointing visit. After reading all the positive reviews we decided to give this mall a go.We had the whole day as our plane departed Catania during the evening. It was an extremely long day!!
Most of the stores were like cheap market stalls with some very tacky clothing. Really surprised to see someone describe this place as awesome. The only good thing was the lounge area with sofas and free wifi with possibility of charging your phone. Nice enough but not the reason I go to a shopping mall. Go to Centro Sicilia instead. It's way better!!!!

We have been going to Sicily for these past 6 years and Porte Di Catania is a place we normally visit. It is a big shopping mall where one can find almost everything. With good food outlets, free Wi-Fi and plenty of shops of all goods.

Took a taxi from Catania, around 40.00 euros to and fro. Spent a lovely day shopping there. Take a trolley from the supermarket, located on the first floor to place your shopping bags in it. Children can also ride on these cute stuffed animals , as not to get bored and elderly or anyone with a disability can also use the motorised scooters. Lots of benches to sit on and also a designated lounge area for men to sit and wait or to rest your tired feet. There is also an outside smoking area. Shopping prices here are very reasonable. OVS, Desigual, Alcot, Adidas, Bata, Bialetti, H&M, Footlocker , amongst many others. Decathlon is next door to the entrance.

Hi , seemingly not. You could get a bus to Catania centre and then another bus to the airport but the shopping centre is only 3.4 klms from the airport so a taxi cant be to expensive
