1 hour 20 round trip on the Tagus; you are able to see the Cristo Rei statue close and 25 April bridge. Then it is on to Belem and another monument with all the historic Portugese sailors. Bring a vest as it can be chilly on board.

We bought these as discreet tickets, that is to say not connected to any bus tour. We bought the tickets on line but you can buy them on the day at the boat. The trip down the river was a lovely, relaxing way to see the city from a different perspective and a great way to visit Belém.

While the Yellow Boat Tour seems to be hop on/hop off transportation to a few different landmarks from the water, I stayed on the entire time enjoying the views from the upper deck. I would have liked to be able to hear the commentary from the outside deck but I didn't mind that too much because I was enjoying the views and being on the water. Workers came around and offered drinks for purchase and there were lots of benches with tables. Overall, a very good experience and some fantastic views of Lisbon for just 20 euros. The duration was about 2 hours in length.

We booked a sunset cruise and this was a very nice experience. We enjoyed all the sights from the boat, had a simple dinner (not included in the ticket) and a glass of sweet Porto wine. (included in the ticket).
There was a musician on board who sang good songs.
The views at sunset are really worth seeing.
Great moment.

Our only dissapointing experience in Lisbon. Windows were filthy (it had been a few days of beautiful sunshine previously so no need for dusty rain marks).
Loo bins overflowing with rubbish.
Audio guide played in multiple languages in succession so not a great deal of info as you had to wait for your language to come back round.
Overall just a sad and tired experience which we wished we hadn't wasted a couple of hours on.

The trip has stops which means you can get to see sites that are some distance away. We stopped off the see the statue of Christ on the hill. We walked up to it - about 4km and then shared a tuk tuk back - just 5 euros for both of us with another couple. I'm glad we walked up to get some exercise but the walk is not pretty. Great views from the statue though and a way to see the other side of the estuary. There little port at the bottom is not attractive but interesting to see nonetheless. You can get a good lunch there cheaply. Lots of other sites en route and the ticket gives you a free ride on the trams.

The national rail carrier of Portugal sell tickets for the Yellow Boat on there website. Having purchased these we went to the terminal in Lisbon. When we presented the tickets they were not recognised are accepted.
We were asked to leave and buy genuine tickets. We were never so embarrassed in our lives. And we're not spring chickens either.
We've since wrote to the rail service and tourist board; neither have responded.
Money and places to go I'm not wanting for certainly two services to be avoided at all costs.
One whose selling tickets under false pretence and the other aiding this pretence.
We still have the tickets which by the way have not been used / validated

If you want to go to Belem and use this as a means to get somewhere, fine. As a cruise and a view of Lisbon, it’s pony. You can’t see much of Lisbon, as the coast is so far away. The “authentic music” being played is intensely irritating and I have to rate this as one of the most tedious two hours and ten minutes of my life; a fact galvanised by noticing that most of the staff seem to kip through it. I’d rather be sat at an airport waiting for a delayed flight than go through this boredom again. The tickets are valid 24 hours and can be used today. Yours for a fiver. Any takers?

The boat trip itself was great and we really enjoyed all thee stops. Its a great way o easily getting to see Belwm Tower, Jeronimos and eat the pasries. The warning is abut the ticket sellers. On 26 Aug just before the 1.00 sailing from Parco Commercial we bought 24 boat tickets from the kiosk on the harbour side. Fortunately I checked it before embarking - the kiosk had sold me someone elses ticket. that had been bought the day before - it had three hours let to run on it. If I hadn't have noticed we would have got stuck at Belem. I did notice, and was issued a proper 24 hours ticket - but be warned - check your ticket.

Nice on the top deck but if it gets cold and you want to go to the downstairs area, you won’t be able to see anything. Surprisingly poor visibility for a sightseeing tour. Clean your windows! Picture is on a gorgeous day outside.

Does anyone know if I purchase an online ticket for the yellow boat, can I use the ticket first on a tram? Or do I have to activate the ticket with the boat tour?

Buongiorno, quali sono gli orari di novembre del yellow boat? In alcuni siti leggo degli orari fissi e in alcuni siti leggo che c'è distinzione tra periodo estivo e periodo invernale. Se lo volessi prendere oggi o domani?

We purchased a ticket for Yellow Boat through PC Rail. On arrival at the Terminal at Lisbon we were refused entry with the pass. Similar to tour buses where you buy the ticket at hotel and exchange when you get on. If even says so on the pass. Has anyone purchased and or used a a similar Yellow Boat ticket

We bought from a kiosk in Commercial Square outside an hour before, but I think I saw a girl taking payment from those in the line without tickets. Bear in mind it gets crowded. They told us join queue 10/15 mins before. More like 30mins to get a seat on deck. Good luck.
