A very nice garden right in the middle of the city. It’s not too big. It’s not too small. It’s just right. Colorful and well set up sections make for great pictures, particularly with a section of a castle as a backdrop. It’s a pleasure to walk through and if I were a resident of Braga, I would be a frequent visitor there. We were there three days and we made certain to pass by each one.

The tittle says it all.
It's pretty, but that's all. You can see it in 5 minutes or less.
Don't go there at night, it's dangerous. I know people who were robbed there.

The garden is small but it is just in the middle of the city and it's pretty beautiful. It gets a little hot in the hottest days of summer but it's perfect to relax in the rest of the days. I love it

It is a small but very well maintained and beautiful garden, with different species of flowers, a lots of different smells - some sneezing allergic reaction for me :)

Nice little garden to visit in the centre of Braga. Best visited early morning if you want to take some photos as it seems to be a magnet for tourists taking selfies. Very pretty and fragrant.

Nice patch of colour and vibrance against a historic background. Definitely worth a walk through when you are in Braga. The arches behind the garden are remnants of the wall that used to contain the archbishop's private garden but is now visible to the public (and accessible through the University entrance on the opposite side of the building).

Beautiful garden, which has a baroque fountain in the center (sec. XVII) topped by the statue of Saint Barbara.
Along with the medieval wing of the Archbishop's Palace form the perfect backdrop for photos, must visit!
This garden is a recreation of the baroque gardens that occupied this space when it was part of the Archbishop's palace.

Whilst this is essentially public space the garden planting is exceptionally good and colourful. We called several times on our recent visit.

Beautiful garden in the historical centre of the city. It deserves a visit, even during the winter. No need to pay.

One place you must visit while in Braga is this garden situated just outside of a small plaza and next to several cafes and restaurants so not only can you enjoy a quiet stroll around the garden but after you're done or before you take your stroll through it, you can sit on the terrace of the nearby cafes offering the typical yet delicious Portuguese pastries!
