I had great Expectations for this place, we had previously visited and had coffee which was excellent, so we decided to return and try their breakfast, we arrived at 10:50 and asked if they were still doing breakfasts and they said they were and that they finish breakfast at 11 o’clock am, so I ordered the woodies forest which is a vegetarian breakfast my partner had the full woodies which is the Full English and my son had the half woodys for his breakfast Which is a smaller version of the full woodies… now Firstly this place isn’t cheap for breakfast and the breakfasts are all around £10 each which you expect to be pretty amazing for this price and I don’t mind paying it if it is. Presentation ok… breakfast wasn’t very warm…butter was rock hard so couldn’t be spread on toast… bacon anaemic, tiny bowl of beans, the worse vegetarian sausage I’d ever eaten… honestly we didn’t enjoy any of the breakfasts and felt they were overpriced and not what we were looking forward too. For this reason I’ll be sticking to the coffee only here. Staff very friendly though.

Firstly thank you very much for providing feedback. Its really important to hear your views, can you clarify which day of the week you visited. I'm very sorry that you didnt get the breakfast that you were expecting. Our breakfast normally receives the best feedback. Obviously on this occassion we did not live upto your expectation. I will be reviewing the breakfast ingredients, preparation and service to ensure the best breakfasts are served from our kitchen and by our staff every day of the week. Apologies again and if you are in the area I would like to offer you a complimentary breakfast which I will cook personallly for you. Best regards Lucy Gardner - Owner

Arrived for breakfast after an early morning start from Swindon….and was really looking forward to a nice full English breakfast.
Nice young lady showed us to a table a few minutes before 11am.
As we reviewed the menu and waited several minutes for the young lady to come and take our order ….we heard her tell the people on the table behind us that breakfast orders finished at 11am….and only bacon sandwiches were now available…..the time was 11.03am.
The people on the table were disappointed as were we that we had not been told that the strict cut off for breakfast was 11am. Not only had we arrived before the cut off time…but had to wait several minutes for our orders to be taken. No apparent signs warning of the 11am cut off for breakfasts …and we would have appreciated upon arriving and being shown to our table that last orders for breakfast where beIng taken. 😥Nice place though 😀

It was my sisters birthday today, she has been too well recently, her husband suggested that we go to Woods at Whitchurch, which she had been to before.
I was impressed by the great shop and we went upstairs and outside the back where there were tables and chairs. The staff greeted us nicely and I ordered a coffee and sausage and egg sandwich. My sister had hot chocolate. The drinks were just right but not sure where the sugar was. The sandwich was lovely and I enjoyed it. It was really quiet out the back of the cafe, in spite of the busy road out the front. A good visit indeed.

Nice shop with fresh baked bread daily and a nice selection of baked goods and cakes, also grocery and off license.
There's a nice cafe upstairs and a few seats outside if the weather is nice.
We stopped here for breakfast on the last day of our holidays and were treated to a full english of enormous proportions ! The breakfast was nicely cooked, fresh mushrooms and tomato, 2 eggs,2 slices of bacon, 2 sausages, baked beans, saute potatoes and black pudding, accompanied by 2 slices of lovely granary toast and butter.
Staff are very friendky and hard working.

They also do a take-away service which we didn't try but it looks very good.

Visited for mid-morning breakfast on the last day of our staycation in Hereford and it was a lovely way to spend our final morning. Although the service was not quick, we actually preferred to linger in the sunshine and take in the lovely local atmosphere generated around the shop and café, which spills over into the front of the café with outside seating. It is clearly a meeting place for locals and had a warm and inviting atmosphere. Great to absorb the bonhomie and camaraderie between locals and visitors alike. The contents of the shop are of a high calibre and our meal was lovely, served by the polite and gregarious Adam (it was his first day waiting on tables!). He did a great job. Would definitely return...

Breakfasts were fantastic quality produce and really good value. Coffees so tasty and well presented.
The shop is well stocked too.

Called in to Woods today with thoughts of a family meal tonight. Great selection of locally-produced food available, settled on the Goats Cheese and Sweet Potato pie - to cook at home. Delicious. Always a great welcome, great choice and really friendly staff. This shop is a blessing to any community. They also have a cafe/restaurant upstairs but I have not had chance to try this yet.

Sweet little cafe right by the A40. I had an excellent full breakfast with good bacon, lovely poached eggs, nice little cherry toms and so on. Good tea. Friendly service

We were staying locally and visited here for lunch based on the positive reviews. Very glad we did as the food was lovely. My kids loved the mac cheese!
There is seating out front and a nice cafe space upstairs. The staff were very friendly. Do save a space for cake as well 😁

The cakes are an absolute must and homemade which is even better and truly the BEST scones ever

We love the fish and chips on a Friday. Quality and fresh produce all the time
