About

We visited during the summer COVID pandemic. The Aquarium facilities are well set out and the large campus aided the feeling of space. The ticket purchase being online was simple and saved some money. The entry into the building was less than well arranged. As there was a queue system that you couldn't avoid being closer than a meter to other patrons, while the temperature was a check, and most annoyingly so the Aquarium could take an entry picture with the hope of selling at the end. With the flux of entries being low the queue was a product of inefficient staffing and not the number of arrivals. If there were to be an infection passed on, it would be in this COVID check area! The aquarium is well ordered and has a nice mix of mammals, and small and large fish, it kept the children interested as much the adults. The star of the show is the large Shark tank which you arrive to after a fair amount of up and downstairs. If you were to be pushing anyone around, it wouldn't be an ideal visit.

Worth a visit if you like aquariums. Try and get discounted tickets from tourist information. Looks really big but most of the exhibition is in one block. Our stay lasted about 2.5hrs and we caught a train from Rimini to Cattolica/ then the bus 125 from the station (bus stop out of the station on the left in what looks like a car park) bus fare €1.30 and train fare just over €2 each way pp. so really cheap travel. Visited a lovely restaurant across the bridge called bar Rio as the canteen in the park offers only fish dishes and it was difficult to tell what was on offer.

Very nice to see especially if you travel with children. Lots of nice fish and reptiles. You can also eat in the restaurants within the area of the aquarium and relax in the quite surroundings.

They don’t follow the covid-19 rules!
Ticket coast 22€ x1 adult and you should also waiting more then 1 hour outside on the line.
Inside is no place for so many people and all layouts made of plastic!
Just blue entrance(with Penguins and sharks) looks interesting, but this is also small building.
From Rimini you should take a train+bus(ca35/40 min road).
We’re very disappointed!

Dear Alexandra, we are so deeply sorry if the experience we offer did not meet your expectations. We strictly follow CoVid Rules even if the repeated checks and distancing measures may cause longer queues outside the buildings. From your feedback, may we understand that you did not see all pavillions? Your ticket covers a visit to the Blue Pavillion (the Aquarium) but also to the Yellow pavillion (otters, caimans, alligator turtle), to the Green Pavillion (reptiles, snakes, bugs, iguanas) and to the Purple pavillion, which hosts no live animals but an exhibition. The exhibitions portrays life in the abyss, where only instruments and machines may reach. For this reason, the creatures living at such depths cannot be seen but only portrayed in replicas. However, we have duly noted your comments and suggestions and will do our best in order to improve the experience.

Le Navi is an interesting place to visit for an hour or two, especially with young children. It has an indoor exhibition and an outside play area. However it seems to be an on going development. It looks as if it has been made from old Second World War coastal fortifications. It is positioned in the northern edge of Cattolica.

It’s maybe not as rich in species like some other acquariums I’ve seen, but it’s lovely designed and entertaining. Though I’ve found the prices a bit too high for the value.

This acquarium is a great option to visit especially with kids. It is divided in parts - with an area dedicated to fish being the main, and in my opinion the best one of all.

There is also an area with reptiles which can be of interest to children, and if you're lucky enough that they are not asleep -you can view as well the otters in their area.

Dear Manuel, Thank you so much for being with us and for your very nice feeback. We are aware aquariums are perfect locations to show children how perfect nature's harmony is, and how fragile, indeed. We do appreciate when feedback comes from visitors who are also parents: we will keep on doing our part to convey environmental awareness to even the littlest among our visitors (while amusing them, of course!)

It was fun to see all these beautiful fish. Sharks are amazing and few times it was scary when they was swimming slowly close to windows.. it was my first visit ever to aquarium and it was very good experience.

I was a bit suspicious at first. Could I get enough for 21 euros? The place consists of 4 different buildings. The first one is enormous. There is so much to see. The other three are smaller which is good because after the first one there simply isn't enough energy left for much more

I wanted to give it a go but..It was so sad!
I got to know they use money from visitors to do good for the sea and the animals in general, but sadly all I can see and feel there was animals without freedom. They looked tired and extremely sad. Didn’t move, didn’t have energy or reactivity. Bad idea, but I wanted to give it a try, just because of their good intentions. But what is wild should remain wild, that’s my final thought.
