A great place to taste buy and talk about the local wine.

The Leukos (white) wine and the Passito (sweet) wine are both made from the Zibibbo grape.
You will only find the Zibibbo grape on the island of Pantelleria.
For me as a foreigner it helped that the owner, Francesca, speaks very well English.
During the two weeks on Pantelleria we went back several times.

Also try the local made olive oil.

If you just want to buy one of their great wines,
you could also visit the Minardi shop at the harbor.

Recommended place to visit. We were lucky to get in before two minivans full of tourists arrived. It’s a tiny cave. Definitely not safe during covid times...

Great spot to camp out for the day. No services, so bring whatever food or drink you want for the day. And water shoes would help getting in and out of the water, which you will want to do - it's so beautiful!

It was fabulous! We did the tour with the tasting and food pairing- and it was all excellent ! We love the wines - bought some to take home at the winery and then bought more at the airport to drink in Milan !! Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful natural pool that gets filled by sea waves during rough sea times. It's quite pointless to get there if sea is calm as you'd just experience a still and small puddle. It's just about 20 minutes walking from the nearest parking lot and it really deserves a visit (and a swim) when sea is rough.
What I did dislike is that the pool is literally scattered by cigarette stubs and other rubbish left over by very uneducated humans.

What a spectacular little winery! The owners and all staff are incredibly passionate about their wine and the produce from Pantelleria. You'll be able to see some of the old Pantelleria here, married with the most modern wine making techniques and equipment. The tasting experience is something else: you'll taste unique wines and top notch food without any pretense.
I especially liked the red (peculiarly clean for a Sicilian red) and the moscato, considering the Passito more a mystic experience than a wine. The food is deceitful in its simplicity. Most of the recipes go back several generations and make the absolute most of the produce of Pantelleria and Sicily. I think I had the best caponata I ever tasted at Solidea, and that's saying something. The place is small so book for a degustazione immediately after your plane or ferry tickets!

This is the best location where to enjoy a beautiful 360 degrees panorama of the whole island. It can be easily reached by asphalted road or alternative walking paths.
It is usually quite and really deserves a visit if you are in Pantelleria.
