This relatively short hike (approx 5km) provides beautiful views and was well signed and easy to navigate. The last section to the waterfall is closed but I was not disappointed as there was so much to see on route including many beautiful butterflies and other wildlife.
All you need is a good pair of walking shoes/boots and I would say suitable for all levels. Car park easy to find at start (5 euro charge), cafe next to car park provided a welcome cool drink at the end.

We really enjoyed our hike here. Weather was great and sky was blue. The trail is very well marked, although the parking lot and entrance not so much. The path is mostly rock, with some lengths of dirt. This is what I would call a moderate hike as some parts were steep. But it is beautiful and has excellent, varied scenery. We were not permitted to venture the final portion to the falls, which was fine since that was very steep and treacherous looking. There are a couple of cafes at the parking area for refreshments.

We came here with two families with four children ages 12, 9, 7 and 5 years. The hike is about 3km to the falls so a total round trip of 6 km. There are many nice spots to stop: a small stream to cool off in, some outlooks and the Sentinel Rock. It took us about 1.5 - 2 hours to get to the falls while stopping for breaks and to enjoy the views and take photos.

The hike is very easy right up until the last 100m. The hike down to the falls is the steepest and most challenging. Mostly because it is steep and there are so many people. There are railings made of cable to hold on to all the way down.

The view of the falls are beautiful. See photos.

Things we liked:
- nice beautiful area and views
- lots of variety from rovers, streams, mountains, forests and easy to do with small kids
- a couple geocaches along the route for fellow Geocachers!

Things we didn’t like:
- very busy near the falls! Get there early to avoid the crowds!
- near the entrance to the way down to the falls there is a large rock people hang around for shade and to rest. This area is messy with garbage and in some spots smells of urine. Please be respectful of the area... it ruins the experience.

Highly recommend.

Pretty easy and relaxed walk along well marked trail. Gets a bit steep towards the end and the actual waterfall.

You will need more less a full day to do this but for sure will go WOW
the drive up the mountains is spectacular and not for the fridge types with the drop on the side of the roads.
then you will drive through wonderful Corsican towns. of L’Ospedale beautiful then the lac of L’Ospedale the Forrest with the shepherd housing small houses making like a small village for summer
The scenery of the sharp mountains all breathtaking
Then you will arrive at the parking for your walk that will take you around an hour.
This is not recommended for children in any way.
once close to the falls the view will be unbelievable of the mountains and ocean in the rear. make sure that the mountains are clear the day you decide to go or you will be in the clouds and you will see nothing.
Beware that when arrive at the fall you will have to descend almost strait down to reach the bottom of the fall and very little is available to hung on.
Make sure to have the correct shows.

Very easy to find and great car park!!!
The route is well marked and certainly the first 3/4s of the route is very easy - moderate
However I would recommend at the bare minimum a good pair of well fitting trainers.
The point at which you reach the decent down to the waterfall and end of supported decent is quite challenging ( it had rained and the weathered granite can be slippery)
If you’re not used to such descents a bit of advice keep your feet parallel to the slope so that should you slip your body weight doesn’t go forward ( use your hands on rocks and rails )
It’s great to get to the waterfall and it’s well worth the journey
There are beautiful views all the way along the route and the alpine flowers quite beautiful.
A good level of fitness is required and it would at some points be classified hard ( most is moderate)
The lovely cafe is most welcome after the exertions!

the trail is a nice walk, not very difficult except for the last steep descent. That last part is also fairly doable, were it not that many people sit and take lunch or a snack on the descent, making it tricky to still find a way between. The falls can actually only be seen well from the very last point of the trail

It's a good thing to do if you want to so something else than going to the beach. It's recommended to go early in the morning (to arrive by 9-10 am) because it's less crowded and not too hot.

You MUST take good walking shoes with you.

It's around 1 hour walk for each direction if you stop to take pictures.
