This installation is not to be confused with any of the poignant memorials to Concorde flight AF4590 which can be found at Gonesse and Mitry-Mory. Rather it is a random piece of undercarriage that in the village centre apparently as quasi-articistic acknowledgement of Concorde's iconic status. It's worth taking a look at if you happen to be passing by on foot from one of the nearby hotels. But dont make it the focus of your trip - you'll be sorely disappointed.

Good to see that this village commemorates its relationship with the Concorde. Nice display of the hardware that made the plane famous. Too bad that vandals have tried to break or smash the glass case, but this is a well done memorial to a great piece of aviation history.

Discovered this place when staying at CDG Marriott, it is just right across. The most interesting display is the Concord landing gear.

It shows the landing gear of Concorde, just to know a few of the history of this iconic airplane, of which the French are proud of, in part due to the crash at Gainasse.

A part of the legendary Concorde Supersonic passenger jet., Explanation in English helps understand the history of this unusual aircraft.

This is special to me in particular because I designed a small part of the Concorde. To have a memorial to the plane and all it represented is very special.

We were staying at the Holiday Inn and decided to take a walk to the village. On our way we went through nice park and discovered this display of tires and landing gear from the Concorde. The Concorde had so much promise and the hype was over the top but then it crashed and it was decided to scrap making more.

Translated literally it means Concorde landing gear. This, as some people have reviewed is not an attraction that many would go out of their way to see but for aviation enthusiasts, it's a part of history.
The Concorde, one of the most graceful airliners ever flown had it's only fatal crash near here. Shortly after the crash aviation saw the end of an era of supersonic air travel (probably till way in the future).
More than a regular tourist attraction, this is a historically significant piece of a beautiful aircraft.

Just the French imaginative approach could have thought of transforming a piece of an aircraft (not so successful after all) in a monument to be visited.
There are a lot of aviation museums and displays everywhere better than this thing.

Really? An aircraft accident and that s all about it? Don t bother, if you are in Roissy Ville, that s fine to catch a glimpse of. Nobody would go from Paris just for that, right?
