Visited the waterfalls of Val Vertova in August 2020. The area is generally frequented by Italians and the signage is not immediately obvious to understand.
Google Maps will suggests driving up to Valle Vertova and using the free free parking near Val Vertova Roset. This option was not available to us as the road was closed. I instead suggest parking in the centre of Vertova as there are plenty of free parking places. This is also safer for a hire car, as the climb is quite narrow in places.
The walk up the hill takes roughly 2 hours and is generally suitable for all age groups. There are, however, a few rivers which can only be crossed using metal stepping stones (with a handrail).
A lot of children and older citizens were present on the walk. The track is predominantly gravel and a stone pavement. The route is a dead end and is marked by a steel gate. There are a few water taps on the journey.

Lovely walk along streams and waterfalls near the town of Vertova. Part of the road is not posted well and the last part (dirt road) is narrow and the Italians drive like c... be careful.

A Beautiful place to walk along a crystal clear river with entising rapids and water falls. Very easy walk for all ages.

We walked up here with friends from Bergamo who'd heard from friends it was a pretty walk. Despite the damp, grey weather the stream and waterfalls were lovely and would be gorgeous for a dip on a hot day. You can walk miles if you have the time and inclination.

It seems from the reviews that only locals visit the place, but it's well worth a visit for other tourists too. It is surely not the wild nature - the trail has been taken care and wherever the river crosses it, someone made sure you'll be able to pass quite easily. We went there with two enthusiastic kids, surrounded by beautiful streaming waters and also rained a bit, so small streams of water were flowing on the rocks.
Coming from a dessert county, this place looked like heaven.
It's spectacular and highly recommended should you be in the area.
