Best guide ever! Marketa was organized, patient, easy going, flexible, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made the visit to Prague great. You can’t go wrong. We watched all these large tour groups stuck on a fixed schedule with rigid timelines. And for basically the same cost we did it our way all the way. She even arranged a car and driver at a great price for the day we went out of town. It was great. And when she wasn’t actively guiding us she still was working for us with restaurant recommendations, ideas for what we might do without her, airport research, etc. PM me if you want the ask any questions. Bonus- she is a great photographer so we have much better family pictures than we would have otherwise! And double bonus she is ecologically minded.

I visited Prague with my friends for short getaway - Marketa was the one who made our visit even more memorable. Professional, knowledgeable, nice, positive - we really enjoyed every moment of our visit. I need to mention that the tour she guided was in Slovene (our mother tongue) :) - we were super delighted we had the opportunity to meet her and spent Saturday morning with her walking exquisite Prague - would never be so interesting without her!

Marketa was the BEST guide we had out of the four on our Eastern European tour earlier this month. She was genuinely funny, knowledgeable, and very attentive to what our group wanted and needed. I can’t imagine a better guide in the entire city of Prague! When (not if) I return to Czechia, I will rearrange my schedule to ensure having her as my guide. Thank you, Marketa, for a great stay in Prague and Cesky Krumlov! We do appreciate the “extras” you did for us such as the restaurant recommendations, Czech language helps, and especially for being willing to share your beautiful photographs you took of what we saw and our group! If you’re ever in Indiana, please look us up!

We were a group of 13 adults traveling through Eastern Europe. We spent a few days with Marketa in Prague and Český Krumlov. She was an excellent guide! She taught us some basics of the language, took pictures for us, guided us with confidence, and introduced us to these two amazing cities. We would use her again without hesitation. We highly recommend Marketa for your Prague visit.

The tour was truly wonderful! Marketa is really knowledgeable and goes out of her way to show you the quirks of Prague you may miss with a conventional tour! She had answers to pretty much all our questions and she was lots of fun! I can truly recommend her! Not to mention that she did the tour in impeccable Slovenian, my mother tongue!

Our hotel recommended Margaret booked her for us . Then we looked out by being the only ones who booked her for the Classic Tour that day . So we got a private tour at a group tour price .The Classic is the Castle then walk down to the Charles Bridge with lunch before crossing the bridge .Then across the Bridge , through the crowded streets to the City Square down to the Spanish Synagogue etc. From there we went back to our hotel . GREAT tour . GREAT guide . Good pace . Nice lunch . Very , very well informed and communicative Guide .

A recent 3 day trip to Czech Republic was made truly memorable by an awesome tour from our guide, Marketa at Cool guide Prague!

From the moment we arrived in the historic Bohemian city of Prague, the lovely Marketa began to guide us through the picturesque neighbourhoods and point out the various points of interest. She was very friendly, accomodating and flexible enough to allow us to set the pace on where we wanted to spend our time. She even enthusiastically took photos of us in front of our favourite photo-stops (they all came out great)!

On our second day, Marketa suggested a day trip to Kutna Hora, a UNESCO World Heritage site and short 70km train ride from Czech's capital. We were blown away by the beauty of this ancient mining town and former home to one of Europe's most powerful currency mints in the Middle Ages. That day we also saw a church which featured interiors from human skeletons and examples of massive water wells.

I cannot recommend Marketa from Prague Cool Guide more highly! On your next trip to Prague or Czech Republic you should contact Marketa to conduct a custom tour for you.

Markéta has been working for several years as an external guide to the Mucha Museum in Prague. Her preparation and interpretation are at a very professional level and clients are always satisfied with her work. Due to its overall approach, I recommend it so much.
