Neighborhood: Malá Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

Great gallery focused not only on art dolls but also on teddy bears and jewelry from the Vamberk lace. The owner is very kind and informed and tells you the stories behind all of the diplayed items.

My visit to the Art cz Gallery was one of the highlights of my visit to Prague. It is a magical store filled with exquisite hand-made works of art. The owners of the store spent several hours helping me decide which of the many beautiful items I should purchase. They even kept the store open an hour past their closing time just so I would not feel rushed. As a result, I am very pleased with the choice I made, and I will forever treasure my elegantly crafted doll. I highly recommend that you visit this special store!

A very special tipp for all of you who like art objects: Art CZ Gallery is situated right in the city center of Prague and shows a good range of Contemporary Doll Art. Bodhana Klatilova is very much related with this type of Art Obects and the artists who are coming from Europe and Eastern Countries, also Russia. You should not miss a visit in this Gallery dedicated to a very Special field of Art!

While traveling in Prague with a friend a couple of years ago, we stumbled upon this gorgeous little gallery full of delights! So many uniquely made doll and bear creations, from different countries, one could stay all day soaking in the beauty. Absolutely enchanting. These works of art are so special, truly another level. The owner/curator Bohdana Klatilova is beautiful herself! Years after my visit, I found Art cz Gallery online and fell in love with a stunning sculpture. Bohdana shipped it to me so quickly and easily, and my lovely doll now graces my home. Bohdana's ability to bring beauty and creativity together is unsurpassed. I highly recommend anyone visiting Prague to visit this special place, you will be thrilled!

The ART cz GALLERY in beautiful Prague is a visit to experience, pure enchantment.
This amazing ART cz GALLERY is host to an important and emerging new art form called ART DOLLS. As an artist I have exhibited my work at Tiffany's in NYC, The
Brandywine Museum in Pennsylvania. The Barbican Center in London, galleries in
Germany, Japan, Prague, Riga & all across the USA and the ART cz GALLERY in Prague is simply the best. If your visiting Prague..........don't miss it! 5 stars from Doll Artist, E.J. Taylor

The Gallery shows what they call Doll Art: handmade artist dolls that are meant to be pieces of art, not toys. Some of them very realistic, others stylized. I especially liked the Russian dolls they showed. There is so much to see and enjoy! You can spend there at least an hour. If you cannot buy an art doll the Gallery also offers books and smaller items. I hope you will enjoy as much as I did!

II is only one doll's gallery in Prague. I was in that Doll gallery many times and always admire a fine collection of dolls of the best artist from around the world, which represent in the gallery. Owner of the gallery, Bogdana, can offer dolls of different styles and value, which made one of a kind, Taddy bears, souveniers and books at the reasonable price. Bogdan is a very professional gallerist and also a doll maker and a writer a book how to made a textile dolls. She has organized the huge event such as the Exhibition One Of A Kind Dolls in Prague. That doll's gallery has a beautiful interior and fantastic atmosphere of art. Location of the gallery is very convenient, just 5 minutes to walk from Karlov bridge. I highly recommend to visit that gallery. You will love it. It is one of remarkable place in Prague.

Beautiful gallery in the Mala Strana below the Prague Castle. It is specialized in stunning handmade dolls, but we were particularly taken by their display of lace jewellery from Vamberk, which is beautiful, genuine, and affordable. A visit to this gallery feels less like shopping but rather like moving through a museum.
If you are looking for genuine souvenirs to bring back from a visit to Prague, this place is one of the few gems among all the junk that is being offered along the tourist miles.
