About
Founded by Martin Opolecky, a passionate athlete and jogging enthusiast, our private running tours welcome keen runners from all over the world, gives them an opportunity to explore the heart of Europe in a healthy and eco-friendly tour.We offer a number of jogging tours in Prague, both for experienced and inexperienced runners, who would like to combine sightseeing with a nice feeling of being fit. Running tours are a new way to explore a city during your holidays or business trip with your running shoes on. A running guide will take you through the tourist center of Prague as well as through less known places. The center of Prague and surrounding places are not far from each other, so you will discover more interesting places than you ever thought of in a very short time. Our tours start at your hotel where we will pick you up, or in the center of Prague, and a tour normally takes 60-90 minutes. The duration depends on your pace and the number of stops we will make during the tour (if any).We try to arrange everything for your full satisfaction, so the tours are going to be strictly private for you and your company, so we can arrange your pick up better, keep the pace that fits your running experience and personalize the tour so that it will be interesting for you.The time schedule of tours is of your choice, but we highly recommend the morning hours. Is there a better start of a new day than to do something for your body, see Prague with no crowds, be alone at the Charles Bridge and then come back to your hotel take a shower and get to regular breakfast?

I've just returned from a five week trip to Europe. I'm a keen runner back home, and googled running tracks in Prague, and stumbled accross Martin's running tour. I booked the "Three View Points" tour. Martin met me at my hotel, and we ran 14km around Prague. Martin was very knowledgable about our surrounding areas, and matched my pace, thereby providing an informative and fun run!! He is very friendly and running with him was definatly a highlight of Prague. Very reasonably priced too... would definatly recommend, and do again if I were to return to Prague.

I booked a tour during my summer trip to Prague and totally enjoyed
it! Firstly, it was nice of Martin to agree on the tour on such a
short notice (I called him just the day before the tour). Secondly,
Martin took me through all important Prague sights - and that within a
single run. It's just unbelievable how much you can see if you do not
walk with the hoards of tourists in the center of the city. Thirdly,
Martin is very knowledgeable, especially in contemporary history and
fun facts, which was just the right thing for the tour not to turn
into a boring history lesson. Dekuji!

My wife and I booked a one hour sightseeing run with Martin and it was the highlight of our January 2013 trip to Prague. We were able to hit all the sights, as well as lots of ones we would have missed otherwise. He kept the pace we requested, is friendly and very knowledgeable. We would highly recommend his tours to anyone looking for a different experience than the boring group tours.

This summer I had the pleasure of going on a running tour of Prague with Martin. I booked the tour from Canada after looking through about four different tour companies that offer running tours in Prague. Martin met me at my hotel at 7:00 am and off we went, just the two of us. The tour was to be about 10 km however we ran almost 15km. It was a fantastic run taking me through many of the cities historic districts and passed a lot of major attractions. We stopped now and again for a brief explanation or picture of the area we were going through. Martin was very pleasant to talk to, easy going and extremely knowledgeable about the city and its history. It was nice to run when it was cool and the crowds were nonexistent. I enjoyed the fact that we ran through a variety of terrains including major squares, parks, small back lanes, around the castle and along the river. The cobble stone streets were not an issue in the least. The price was very reasonable especially considering we ran much farther than the previously agreed upon distance. I look forward to getting back to Prague and running with Martin again. Next time I will be in better shape so I can make it up the big hill without walking. Thanks Martin that was a highlight of my trip. Happy trails, Scott

.... and the best way to do it is with someone that knows the history and the touristic sites of the city. Martin is definitely one of them! Martin is a naturally talented guide. I was lucky for searching the web for trails in Prague when I arrived there. In principle, I was thinking about running by myself, but found Martin's idea of running together as a touristic program creative enough to give it a try. This was the best decision I could have made! It was a pleasure to learn about Prague, its history, its people and its culture. We ran twice, the two trails were very complementary, and I wish I could have done it more times! Great time, great pictures and great exercise!

I came across Martin searching for routs to run once I would get to Prague. I use to find online routs when visiting a city so I can complete my runs without getting confused. For the city of Prague, all running routs start out with the name ‘Martin’. From our first communication 2 months earlier he was opened to all suggestions once I was not being sure about the group size. He is an amazing guy, extremely professional and caution for our safety. He knows he’s way around the ‘good’ running parts of the city, providing us amazing landscape views (where I’m sure that we would not see by our own, once tourist guides don’t take you there). We were a group of 4 with totally different paces, but Martin manage to keep everyone happy providing a mixed running experience, and off course, amazing pictures throughout the city. If you are in Prague, and in for a run, Martin will give a whole new meaning on what urban running is. Definitely suggesting him as an experience for your trip Prague. Thank you my friend....

Martin is a very nice guide! It was a pleasure to talk to him. I'm not an athlete and he respected my slow pace. It was really pleasant!

I challenged Martin with a brisk run on a cool christmas morning and he was flexible enough to take it. We had a fun run around the awakening city, passing all the important sites, beautiful trails in the parks and streets, talking about running and from time to time Martin explained about the sites. We covered a lot and ran a nice pace. Martin was professional and fun, I would highly recommend this to any runners who comes to Prague.

Martin showed up on time (and with a big smile!) for the nice route he had planned for me. We ran twice this week and I will probably call him again next time I go to Prague. Indeed, I found it was a great experience.

I went for two runs with Martin, a 6-miler and a 9-miler. Both were a lot of fun. He met me at my hotel at 6AM both times and we headed out. Prague is a great place to run--along river paths, through parks and the city itself. I took a ton of photos along the way and saw places I never would have otherwise, especially on the 9-miler. Martin's a great guy and will run at your pace. It was easy to book and pay on his website. Highly recommended.
