Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

Wow, what an experience. This is a glimpse into the world of the blind. We entered through a door into complete and total blackness. As we wound our way through different rooms, kitchen, living room, a hunting cabin, we used our other senses to help identify objects in an outdoor market, a walk over a bridge and crossing the street. We ended in a pub where we had to pay for a coffee, identifying our coins by touch only, a little hard when you have multiple currencies, all foreign. I definitely recommend.

Four of us visited last week and was led through the different pitch black rooms by our host, who''s name I have unfortunately forgotten. Without giving too much away, you immediately have to rely on other senses. from touch to listening.

Fantastic way to spend an hour odd. Would highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this experience..the guide was great..sorry I don't remember the name. There is a 50kc extra fee pp for an English guide.

I had vouchers that were dated in November but they gladfully accepted my tickets.

Reservations are easiest by email. We happened to visit the place in the morning and made a reservation in the afternoon.

I suppose it is best to go at slow times so you are less likely to be grouped with other people or kids. We were just a group of 3 so it was great. Also, it would be best to go with at least a 2nd person you know. For the complete experience, take off your watch (many watches have numbers that glow)

Towards the end, you are in a simulated bar/cafe and you actually order coffee, beer, drinks and you pay with coins-

Yes, definitely worth a visit and something different than the touristy stuff.

It's rare that the community of Tripadvisor get something wrong, and the Invisible exhibition is no different! If it wasn't for Tripadvisor we'd have had no idea about the place, however i'm very glad we went to check out the hype.

We tried to book online beforehand but it's near on impossible after trying to translate into English. Maybe this is something that can be improved? If you have trouble though just call and I'm sure they'll be happy to help you with a booking.

It can also be quite difficult to find, me and my partner had to use google maps on our phone before also calling for some help. We got there in the end though - but remember to note down their number as you may need it. Once we arrived we were able to join a group just about to start and get led into the darkness...

We'll let you find out for yourself what the exhibition entails and the adventure you go on, but our guide was fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful.

Overall, we'd certainly recommend as something to do in Prague and it's an experience we'll never forget.

Dear Sean, many thanks, we'll forward your tips to the director and will consider putting more signs. As for the English, it's necessary to book tours by phone or e-mail so that we know you need a tour in foreign language. However it's no problem to pay for the tickets here, also by card. Regards!

I went to Prague last week with a friend. We were looking for things to do and stumbled upon the blind exhibition through trip advisor - did not really see any other advertisements around for it. Due to the reviews I arrived with great hopes and it did not fail - from beginning to end it was interesting and completely different to anything I have experienced before. The difficulty for trying to get around in complete darkness is an unbelievable challenge. The tour guide was what made it for me however. He was incredibly knowledgeable, witty, funny, great overall host and just really made the experience in my opinion. I unfortunately cannot remeber his name but he did the English tour at 5 o'clock on Wednesday. Superb honestly could not recommend it enough. Thank you for the fabulous experience for me and my friend, and making our trip to Prague extra special.

This place was EYE OPENING, I won't reveal what happens inside the exhibition as that will spoil it for everyone! But I took along my boyfriend who really was not interested in this exhibition initially and he loved it! All I will say is keep some change in your pocket! The tour guide was brilliant he answered all questions!

If you have ever wondered about how it feels to be blind and go about your everyday business, this is the right place for you. At this exhibition, you see with your hands and instincts. In absolute darkness, you are let through replica of a flat, a street and also a forest with a stream. As you go, you touch and identify various objects. At the end, you end up in an invisible bar, where you can order beer, hot chocolate or juice. And pay without looking at the coins. For me, it was a very inteesting and intense experience and will definitely visit the exposition again. Appropriate for groups of friends, families, couples, anyone. Just be prepared, that you may end up touching or being touched by someone in the group ;)

An opportunity to truly experience what been blind is like, appreciate our senses and realised how much is taken from us when we can’t use our sight. We went with my 13 years old daughter and she loved it too and learned a lot from it.
It is a very fun thing to do too and a challenging experience.

Undoubtedly, you have discussed with someone at some point what it would be like to be blind and you come up with various descriptions and ideas of what you think it'd be like. This experience proves just how naive you were about it and it really highlights how much thought, preparation and building yourself up to do things you would normally take for granted.

If you're looking for something to do when visiting Prague, I'd absolutely recommend this. A different kind of experience that I've not seen before in other big cities across Europe.

This was an amazing, touching experience that I feel everyone should experience at least once. It gives such unique insight into the everyday lives of those who are blind and helped me to identify challenges I never would have thought of before. I would highly recommend and hope to visit the exhibition in another location some day.
