Neighborhood: Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.

I've been back to Asha. Having started with Kundalini yoga I've sampled Qigong. Both have transformed my life, though the 'masters' say "It is I that have made the change" lol. They were the catalyst for that change and I am very glad that they were there for me when I needed their help the most. If you live in Bangkok, or are passing through looking for "an experience", I can't recommend Asha highly enough. And don't forget that they do energy healing sessions too - a must do annual "checkup and maintenance" in my opinion. And finally they are really close to the Punnawithi Skytrain Station. I recommend giving them a call to discuss your needs before dropping in.

Sheila and Jim and their team are awesome. I took one on one classes in Kundalini Yoga with Sheila - and felt great as a result. And Jim (who spent 6 years in a Chinese monastery learning ancient techniques to control energy and to heal) spent 2 hours sorting out my energy imbalances. I felt like a new man after.
