- Kellie GMelbourne, Australia22 contributionsGreat day out.Great experience, for the $40 admission fee I think we got a lot Out of it. Animals, rides and water slides. We managed to stay from 11-4pm. Good choices were just ok but that’s pretty usually for a theme park. Not sure I would come To Ipoh just to go here but we had a great day out. My boys zip lined, fed a girrafe, got the see some animals up close- not sure about there enclosures though, went on follower coasters and all sorts of water slides. We went on a Wednesday and it was really quiet so no lining up which was great.Thank you for the Awesome review! Your thoughts and comments are very valuable to us. - Mei Er C1 contributionGood experience for my first visit in Lost World of Tampun.I had a wonderful trip at here. The room is nice. The receptionist (Haikal) is so friendly. He explains every step and instructions clearly. It really help those who come here first time (like me) get to the destination (room, breakfast place, theme park) easily. Unfortunately it was a rainy day, so we cannot spent much time in the Hot spring theme park. Just one suggestion, I wish the breakfast have more variety of choice. Overall is good.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 22, 2023

This is best trip for all of us. We really enjoyed everything there kids enjoy the luminous forest we adult enjoy the heated pool. The petting zoo was great it was great fun for both kids and parents definitely will go again. The only negative was the Indian restaurant overly priced not worth for the food they simply charging up the sky we left with no choice and service was very poor,

Hi.
Thank you very much for sharing your comments and your review with us.
It is very much appreciated. We're glad that our theme park was to your liking!
Firstly, pertaining to the prices of food and beverage and some facilities (i.e swan lake kayak), our prices are comparable to mall food courts, cinemas and theme parks in Asia.
We've taken notes of your concerns and have given the feedback to our staff for further discussion.
We will take your review for our future improvement as we make your next experience a better one ^_^
Thank you and we hope to see you again

On last 5 & 6 March, my friend and I went to the Sunway Lost World of Tambun for a short holiday. We chose the Staycation Glamping package offered by the theme park. The glamping package for 2 pax includes glamping, buffet breakfast x 2, theme park entrance x 2 and night park entrance x 2.
We've never been to this theme park so we didn't know what to expect. But oh boy, we were blown away from A to Z. The theme park staff especially the glamping staff were excellent. They treated us like kings. The glamping staff drove us to every part of the park with a tourist buggy. What makes our experience extra special? My friend and I were the only glamping guests at the time. Additionally, our glamping is located inside the theme park so the experience was surreal. The tent was great. The glamping area was amazing. The shared bathroom was clean. First class in everything, hands down. My only advice is to bring mosquito repellant. Oh yes, worry not. There's a wifi connection.
My friend and I are planning to return again at the end of this year. See you then!

Made the mistake of bringing the family to this place over the weekend. This place has the infrastructure of a world class theme park but the way it is managed is no where to that standard. This being a weekend should not be an excuse.
First was the hassle of getting into the park. We had already purchased tickets online, so getting the armband should have been a seamless process. Only that it was not. We had been lining up for almost an hour, there were no proper markers to indicate where one should line up. Then we were told to go out to the counters outside, stood in line again to get our wrist bands. I can see that kids were getting restless and parents were getting annoyed. Very messy and unorganised.
Once inside, if you were just walking around the venue without having to interact or have to line up at attractions/food outlets, you can save yourselves from annoyance, but if you have to, that's when you realise how it can spoil your holiday.
Imagine this, there are multiple food kiosks and food trucks, the catch is, you cannot buy food directly there. You have to line up until ur feet give way at the cashier first, then line up once again at the kiosk. Simply put, you have to waste time lining up twice for one single hot dog. Efficiency doesn't exist here. And it would not take that long for them to realise this is happening and for them to fix it, but no one seemed to care.
Then the annoyance at the kiosks. If you are selling chicken and rice, it would be no surprise that people would be coming to get that. These kiosk operators start packing only when patrons hand over the receipts. Why not start packing these food packets and churn them out as someone hands them out efficiently in a time saving way?
Would I return? Perhaps not. Might just take a flight to Singapore to USS. The time spent on the flight might be less than the time spent in the lines to enter and to get food here anyway

Did a last minute decision to visit LWOT and stayed at the Malayana floating villa @ glamping area. Our experiences from pick up to check out was way beyond expectations. The warm welcome of Mr Eto"s team made our stay so memorable that we are planning another trip soon. I am personally grateful to Mr KAMAL for successfully reawakened the curiosity in my teenage children with his informative and friendly approach throughout their communication. Others in the team like Mr Syahadan and Mr Harith also made sure that our visit was well taken care of. Thank you guys!
About the floating villas... i want to be selfish so that it will remain our secret little getaway... but then again, the tranquility and picturesque glamping grounds is simply too wonderful fantastic to be missed... i can only pray that LWOT maintain this magical place.

The theme park has some positives and negatives. The petting zoo was really good. This is the first time we actually touched a mara, capybara, giraffe and camel. The tin valley could do with more multimedia activities. The amusement park needs more family rides. Most of it is not suitable for small children. The Food Street looked really sad and you can get better similar dishes in Ipoh for half the price. The Dulang Tea House especially the roti timbuktu and rice tea were really good but the place has too many flies.
The management should consider seperate tickets for just certain sections. I would go again only to the petting zoo if they only sold tickets for that section but not at the ticket price for the whole park.

Hotel should apply limited customers for breakfast, during peak season just allowed who stayed with booked breakfast, do not allowed walk in customers. I have to stand 15 min to wait the vacant table, with my knee pain. There have 200 kapcai riders from Kelantan made others visitor not comfortable. Without follow SOP, they blocked the acces to the theme park.

We find it relaxing to have hot spring at night (maybe too hot in some pool), we enjoy the amostphere. So many people visit here, they look like local people with some unlimited entry pass, they bring big water bottle and had not rent locker. As the locker rental is high and water is expensive inside. There are also a light park to walk after a 5 mins show.

Worth your money. Lots of activity. Some require additional entrance fee like haunted house or swan boat ride. Can dip in the hotwater springs if you're feeling cold. A lot of food stalls inside with reasonable price. The fire show starts at 9pm and was so much fun.

Konichiwa & Hello,
We went to the theme park Lost World of Tambun. There is no private cabin (hut) here as this is a public area.
The one you are asking maybe located at the Banjaran Hotspring Retreat which we had not gone before. Maybe you can contact them direct.

As far as I concerned, all children can used the pools but of course depends your kids size.. all the pools are open to all ages.. the crystal pools stated water temperature.. some are hot, some are just so so.. try and choose which one suit your kids..

It varies. Depending on the slides. When i went there, my 8 years old kid only able to play kids water slides. The others cannot. But they still enjoy it!
