Nice tree and interesting poetry
říj 2018 • Pár
We visited the tree after going to an interesting nearby winery, but found this a bit underwhelming. It is a lovely old tree but having all the food stalls in the park and having to pay to visit seemed to commercialise it a bit much. However when we went to the Poet's House next day we appreciated it all a bit more.

Surreal, out of Tolkien

Set in the wilderness, one arrives at this millenary tree (1200 years old). The branches are thick and reach the earth and then they rise and the whole circumference is about 40 meters.

Great for a nature lover

What I enjoy most about these places in the province of San Luis is the peaceful nature. This is an 800 year old mesquite tree (although some people said it was 1,000 years old). It's not that big of a deal, but I really enjoy the outdoors, so I loved see the old "Grandfather Tree" as they call it.

A nice place for nature lovers

This is basically a park created around a very old carob tree ( about 800 years some say others up to 1200).
A very nice place to share some Mates in the afternoon, take some pictures and learn more of the work of a famous poetry writer: Antonio Esteban Agüero

Here you'll also find some small shops where you can buy some souvenirs of the place along with many traditional foods.

There is no entrance fee in theory, but a contribution is required.
