this place is a part of history and can only be offensive if misguided minds make it that. to bad politics played a role in closing this beautiful monument.

Spacious! Good place to relax with friends and family for a pic-nic or other social gathering. They have periodic events (re-enactment of a civil war battle) and other historic festivals from time to time that are well worth attending.

A must see stop if you love civil war history, there are many information signs detailing events that took place in1864. This visitor is one of the best I've visited, being in the original home. There you find the many, many items found on the battlefield and display with the history info. My personal favorite are the beautiful dresses worn in the day, some are authentic and some are authentic replicas.

It is a sad sad sad happening - not Nash farms fault. All politics that just decides to try and sweep any history under the rug.

I went to Nash Farms for my cousin's wedding, having done no research on the venue previous to the trip. I was very impressed & surprised upon arrival. There was a free museum which was very interesting. They had a nice collection of artifacts. I bought a lead bullet which was dropped on a civil war battlefield during the battle, very cool. They proclaim that this is one of the most reserved civil war battlefields in regards to resembling what the fields & landscape looked like in the 1860s.

This property was bought by the Henry County government because it was a "historical" battlefield. There is some question as to where the battle took place. But the county spent millions of dollars to buy something less than 5% of the county residents ever see.

I have been to a couple wedding here. Cute rustic place for a country wedding. They also do a Civil War reenactment at this location which is pretty cool.

Make this a must-see on the road to Atlanta. The museum is full of civil war history with friendly and knowledgable docents, donations from the old cyclorama and has free admission. The fields where the battles took place are untouched and there is a park for picnics on site run by the county. Spend a few hours immersed in history at this well maintained property.

They were really cheap, I think we paid 500ish to rent two buildings, but they don't allow it anymore.
