Played nine holes here in late December. The course is in decent shape. Greens are pretty good. It's an easy but tight course. Pretty fun to play. For the price it's not to bad.

$30.00 includes a cart (Sr. rate) during the week
This course needs an infusion of money. The golf paths are in poor condition, there are very few rakes for the sand traps. One sand trap does not have sand in it. A grass trap has tall weeds growing out of it. No drinking water on the course, or ball washers. Pro shop is run-down. All the flags are red. I had difficulty on several holes knowing where the pin was located (front, middle, back).
Drinks and snacks available at the pro shop. No real food available. Nice lady working in the pro shop.
This course could be a neat little course IF the owner would commit the dollars needed to get the course to this level. Basics (different color flags, drinking water on the course, remove the broken concrete on the cart paths) must be a priority.

We have played this course many times and have always enjoyed coming to cotton fields, but last week we played and two workers took off in front of us on lawnmowers they went ahead of us and they sit right in front of the hole as I was about to hit to the hole, they just sat there and we had to ask them to move they set another five minutes and we went over and asked them what was the problem and they said they were just doing there job but yet they never cut any grass, we didn’t see them at all during the rest of the round.
Just plain harassment and hateful.

If I could do a minus I would. Tee boxes, hard dirt and weeds, fairways same as tee boxes!
Sand traps, all weeds, no sand!!
And the greens are a joke! Feels like greenish painted concrete with weeds popping up!!!
Worst course in over 30 yrs of playing golf!!
And I’ma horrible golfer!!
Not worth any $$$$$,
you’re better off doing putt putt!!!
Oh yea. Cart paths Hahahahahaha!!
Buckle up buttercup !!
Should be shut down!!

This is a relatively easy course. The greens are in excellent condition, fairways good, rough so so, and bunkers bad. Reasonably price, with a driving range.

Checked in at the course on 8/11/19 45 minutes prior to Tee time to play 18. Got ready to Tee off on #1 and the marshal approached and said that they had 20 sets of 5 players in front of us. The marshal said it will take 4 1/2 hours to play 18. After an hour had past we only made thru 1 1/2 holes. Not to mention that the course is in really bad shape. The bunkers looked like someone had been square dancing in them and had not been raked in months. Footprints were plenty, deep, and been there a while. They also had weeds at least 12" to 18" tall in the bunkers. The greens were nothing but sand with very little grass. Went back to the clubhouse to get our money back and the Forest Gump at the counter would not give our money back. Kept on persisting that he could give us a rain check. At this point we didn't want a rain check because what was the point with the course being in such bad shape. The course should have been letting people play for free that how bad it was. Wish I had took pictures. REALY BAD EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND! I don't recommend this course to anyone. Place should be shut down for repairs.

Some colleagues and I played Cottonfield golf course today. The weather was great but the course conditions were even greater. Now they're under new management through the county Bryan Dixon along with his team have done a great job bringing this little gem back up to par and beyond in the last eight weeks. Good job guys!
