Arrived early easy to park free drink with parking approx 5euros from memory. Easy walk to beach set up in front of beach club that lines the whole beach which is long. Lots of boats and nice view over to Cala gracio area . Lots selling beach throws etc they are good quality and price and it doesn’t bother me on other beaches but found there was so many on this one we were constantly being asked and they were quite persistent compared to other beaches. The beach club is just out of this world. It was a boiling hot Mid July Saturday and we found a comfortable white sofa to lounge out on and great service ordering cocktails and drinks. Good music from the DJ. Such a cool place no doubt lots of money from people that come here but don’t be put off, the cost of a drink was no more than a club or other decent bar/ restaurant and we could have stayed there soaking up the atmosphere and relaxing for days!!! A must

We ate in the Mediterranean restaurant as you enter Cala Bassa beach. It was a really lovely place and the food was good overall but i did have something exceptional. For 5 euros a piece they service a smoked raw sardine. OMG - truly one of the nicest things i have ever eaten. The service was a bit arrogant for us but things came on time etc.
The beach was crowded so we gave up on that and just walked through the whole area which was lovely. At the other end from where we ate is the pretentious part where you can hire 4 poster beds set back from the beach. Great place to burn money if that's your thing.
They had a DJ playing nice vibes all day long. I wouldn't be rushing back though.

The water was lovely (turquoise green and blue) and the beach is situated in a nice, sheltered bay. The beach itself was a bit crowded, but this is to be expected in such a tourist heavy destination. Slight annoyance by roaming beach merchants, but they generally left us alone after being politely declined. A good beach for an early-morning swim before the majority of the crowds descend.

The whole experience is fab albeit very expensive.
We have been to the CBbc on many occasions, always had fabulous food and drink.

One negative, Our drinks were removed from the sun lounger when we were swimming and really should have been replaced, but were not!
Also you can't have a sun lounger without paying for Champagne which is very expensive: 185 euros inc towel... ouch!

Beautiful bay location. We used a water taxi to travel from San An bay - around 10 minutes 7 euro one way.
Beach club, souvenir, clothing shops( fairly up market), other bars and restaurants, all very nice.

Taken over completely by the beach club and overpriced and pretentious. Car park is cheap at only 5 euros. Water is lovely BUT full of jellyfish. Should be kept out of the water somehow, if they can afford to own the whole beach then they can afford to clear the jellyfish. Ruined the experience as not safe to swim.

Cala bassa, Used to be a wonderful beach.
Unfortunately I believe its gone down hill a-lot.
Its always been a busy beach, but the litter and fags butts i really noticed this time.
Constantly being asked if you want a throw, parasol or hair braided, i mean every 5 minutes.
There is only so many times you can be called “del boy” or a “chicken nugget”

I will definitely be going elsewhere next time.

The sea is beautiful here thats one one good thing, crystal water.

Was really looking forward to this visit as told most beautiful beach on the island, however disappointed with fag butt's all over sand. 20 euros each for day bed. Being bothered every 5 minutes if we wanted to buy a bloody towel from the guys who walk up and down the beach and don't take no for an answer and top of that you'll pay 20 euros each way for a taxi and there's no shop there, just have to spend another 20 euros for a cocktail! DON'T Bother! Sorry!

Have given this place many chances!! But now I must say this place is so commercial it is a rip off!! Last year we sat at the restaurant with prepaid sun bed(exclusive area) gentleman had an heart attack/stroke behind us. The staff were untrained and rude 🤨 life guard from the beach came to the rescue plus myself. I will not be going back there! Disorganised staff no thanks!!
Be warned you are a number £££
Plus probably you will be sat in the woods ! Positive side the beach is beautiful but rammed

Beautiful beach but be cautious when you visit. We made the mistake of visiting on a Sunday and hadn’t made any reservations at the Cala Bassa Beach Club, that has a monopoly on natural shade and beach loungers/umbrellas. The visit was short as we simply could t get a spot.
