Well worth a visit!

So pleased we found this little gem! We stayed in our camper which was delightful enough but made even more enjoyable by the wine tasting and the beautiful aperitifs served in the lovely authentic outside area for just €8. The wines are great and extremely well priced! The starff very hard working and friendly! We left with a crate of sparkling white! Well worth a visit and highly recommended!

Amazing views and plentiful wine! Lovely to support local businesses in Barga. Food was Tuscan and delicious!
Measures were taken to be Covid-19 secure by staff. We return to Barga once a year and will definitely be going for Wine Tasting again!

Fantastic Afternoon

A fabulous afternoon spent in the company of family and friends made all the more enjoyable by Vanda and the rest of the team at La Cantina Del Vino.
The experience is without any pretentiousness, relaxed and very informative too.
The wines tasted and accompanying food were complimented by the location an ambiance of the setting.
I can highly recommend the experience and at just over €20 a head it certainly is great value for money too.

Unforgettable wine tasting

During our stay in Barga we booked a wine tasting at La Cantina del Vino. We had a lovely afternoon. Vanda was a great host and was able to tell us so much about the wines (in English!). The wines were delicious and the lovely local food completed the experience. We ended up buying 3 different kind of wines because they were so delicious and relatively cheap (€5 per bottle). When you are in Barga, this wine tasting is a must do!

Wine tasting with food €15 per adult

I can not recommend this place enough! We visit Barga every summer and always make our way to La Cantina. The Wine Tasting this year was superb; with one highlight being the local Pecorino cheese served with honey (also local).
The staff are all friendly and more than happy to give advice on ordering.
You can order for UK delivery - which I have utilised in the past, with everything arriving intact and in perfect condition.
Can’t wait for our return next year when we are having a big post-wedding family gathering inside the new function room. ❤️🥂

Just received a delivery off a few cases of lovely wine from Eduardo here in UK and it prompted me to write this review of my last visit.
If you are going to Barga you MUST go here no excuses it is truly a wonderful relaxing place with beautiful wine and a lovely outdoor space to enjoy it. Eduardo is the perfect host and you will not want to leave after sampling the wine and atmosphere. Its only a 5 mins walk down the hill from the center of Barga so no need to drive, that way you can drink more wine :0)

Wonderful Wine, Warm Welcome!

A magnificent hidden treasure!. Spent an enjoyable afternoon sampling local wines and tasting beautiful home made goodies. The hosts Francesca & Edoardo were absolutely wonderful. Will definitely revisit.

The wine is wonderful, and the staff were very helpful with choosing wine and gifts, and with shipping back to the states. We had a lovely time tasting wines and olive oil and highly recommend a visit!

Highlight of trip

One of the highlights of our trip to Italy!! Even though there was a mix up on our reservation and we were the only visitors, Edo welcomed us and treated us fabulously. We were treated with fresh figs and tomatoes from his garden. Edo kept bringing delicious wine and food. Cannot express how welcomed we were treated. Highly, highly recommend La Cantina del Vino.

We originally just had need a place for our camper ... This place had been recommended to us with the hint that we should definitely do a wine tasting as well. So we asked some friends to join also, at least we were a group of 10. It was bombastic. All together we had 5 different wines (Prosecco, Rosato, 2 different red wines, Moscato) and were served a lot of tasty snacks typical for the country presented by 2 fully dedicated, informative and especially hospitable owners. In summary, just one thing: If you don't stop here to share our experience, it's your own fault.

Hello again, we look forwrd to seeing you both for our wine-tasting. We are a 5 mins. walk from Barga town centre. Depends where you staying you may arrive on foot and we can bring you back to centre. Unfortunately we have stopped doing lunches (low season for us). We can do wine tasting 10.30-12.30 or 15.30-17.30 whichever suits you best. If it's not too much trouble for you - could you let us know your choice a day before if possible.
