This church was restored a few years ago, in one of the best ways possible. The monument underwent major damages all over the structure and decoration and was neglected for a long time. It's still possible to see that the restoration isn't complete. Nevertheless is a beautiful church that was part of a Franciscan Monastery. In other times Portuguese kings were buried here but nowadays their tombs are in museums in Lisbon. It has nice cloister and it's used for historical recreations of medieval scenes.

Recently reopened and renovated, this convent has a really nice cloister and the church being abandoned and deconsecrated for many years doesn't have much remaining though what is still there is quite nice to see. The church is another fine example of Gothic architecture, very common in this city. Entrance fee was 2€
