An unpretentious, gregarious venue, overseen by the affable Tim and Dave, ably supported by Andy. A lovely, picturesque site, good variation of disciplines and targets. The simulated driven pheasant clay shoot up in the hills, is challenging and tremendous fun; all the excitement of a real drive, without shooting real pheasant. (Am not an anti, but am not a game shooter myself).
Good cartridge prices, not an expensive place to shoot.
A favourite location, eagerly anticipated every Spring for the Thursday evening shoots.
Ideal evening, meet up with the Blokes, bust a few clays, then a pint in the Castle at Edgehill watching the sun set over this historic site. Wonderful!

Wonderful venue with a great selection of different traps. Lovely scenery, and everything from single/double traps to high to low to rabbits. Very low-key and informal, no rushing and no pressure. If where you want to shoot is being used, you just find somewhere else. We went as three of us, one with a lot of experience and two 'amateurs'. All of us were made to feel very welcome and it was the best day's clay shooting I've had in a long time.

Went with Oxford University Clay Pigeon Shooting club and we participated in a competition along with many experienced participants, some having won world championships. The people at Edgehill couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming as some of us were inexperienced and the staff, helpers and other contestants couldn’t have been nicer. Very challenging course too with fantastic traps.
