What travelers are saying
- Ann LBristol, UK852 contributionsThis is the place where the markets take place - and also houses the museum (check for opening hours) - it was bustling as I went past on a Saturday at about 1pm - Cary is a nice townWritten March 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - justmarigoldYeovil, UK98 contributionsThe most interesting place our group has visited in a long time. One of only 2 horse hair weavers in the world and the only one in the UK.
Exceptional value for money and the chance to see every single process .
All the staff were extremely knowledgeable.

- EllieLondon, UK17 contributionsThe choice of books on show is huge eclectic and thoughtful, and there was something suitable for all ages. Cards etc too. They could quickly order any book that wasn’t available and post it on. Highly recommend!Written September 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Big_Jeff_LeoSt Helens, UK21,978 contributionsIt is not the best War Memorial, simple in its design as a cross but its the location that is the winner. It takes pride of place in the center of this lovely town and pays homage to the locally fallen of Both World Wars.Written July 5, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GerryKentTonbridge, UK446 contributionsInvited to a charity day recently. Although I have played here before I found it was a great test of golf on this occasion. Accuracy is very important as second cut and taller rough grab the ball. But a great fun day with good companions.
Club house is great with friendly staff and set meal was lovely.

- jamiek35Gillingham, UK275 contributionsBeautiful little shop with lovely items. A little expensive but quality products throughout so worth it. Something for everyone here. Also some amazing fabrics for sale. A pleasure to look through the many many items.
