Lovely country walk with a lot of Babary macaques to see! The feeding talk was very informative about the monkeys and you can go round as much as you like. We were very lucky with the weather!

Lovely place to visit. I try to go every week for a lovely walk around the lake and the Italian Gardens, with a stop for a delicious cappuccino in one of the cafes inside the gardens. There’s always lots of interesting plants and wildlife to see and I enjoy observing the changing seasons. I particularly love the Spring bulb festival but there is lots to see all year round. We often stop to chat to the lovely staff working in the gardens. Day tickets are a bit expensive but the annual pass is fantastic value.

Came to this national trust property and gardens as we were in the area, I have to say this is one of the more interesting gardens I have visited the vista changes at every turn which makes exploring the gardens very interesting. Walks are easy. The main part of the house is still a private residence but this does not detract from the visit. We came in march the ground was wet from all the rain but will be get better as the flowers and trees bloom burning spring/summer months

Have visited this park many times. It's a pleasure to ride around on a bike, or to walk round. There are plenty of seats. Very different bushes and trees too.

We enjoyed a lovely walk round the lake and we enjoyed a spot of lunch too. Picked a nice day to visit, a sunny day in September.

Pretty canal for a nice walk. Easily accessible by bus from Stoke. Lots of good pubs, good moorings for boaters and interesting things to visit nearby like the Flint Mill at Cheddleton and the Churnet Valley Railway.

    What an absolutely gorgeous place.
We had been to two other lovely places on previous days and were looking for something else for our last day in Stoke on Trent.
This topped the week off beautifully.
Lovely, lovely walks with plenty of interest in different areas, like an arboretum, a wardens tower, that was closed off, for very good reason, as it was an area for some of our endangered bat species to roost without disturbance.
The reservoir was teeming with Canadian geese, tufted ducks and mallards. One area had three bird species, at least, that I had not seen in the wild before. I was delighted to see that someone was feeding them, whilst taking photos, and this gave me opportunity to photograph them myself.
Stunning place that I would highly recommend.

Great afternoon out. Husband, niece and nephew all did the level 1 ski lesson. They all progressed more than they expected to and said what good encouragement and direction they received from the instructors. The on-site cafe was reasonably priced with friendly staff for our break before all doing the adrenaline tubing. One word FUN! Would happily return.

Visited Biddulph Grange many times as an NT member but a friend drew our attention to this lovely place.

Free car parking, quite busy but spacious.

Great open woodland space, we did a fair few steps and really enjoyed it. A lot of dog walkers but on the whole responsible, occasional bag left for someone else to pick up.

Will definitely walk here again and go around the lake next time.

The park is lovely, well kept and maintained by SOTCC well done.
An oasis in an otherwise decaying Town.

Wonderful morning out as a family of two adults and Six year old. Easy to find. Parked at what we think was the visitor centre with toilets and a starting point to several walks.

The walks were of various lengths and easy to follow. Paths were safe and of doing the red walks+ be advised of steps and gradients.

Nice to finish at the canal. Sadly no one to be seen at the station (Monday) and also shame the Black Lion pub shut due to wedding.

That said we so enjoyed our free nature experience and there were ducks and birds galore!

So good to see nature doing it’s nature thing!

Cold and windy Boxing Day walk with family. Great playground for kids and skate park for teenagers. Unfortunately, no loos or cafe takeaway due to Covid restrictions but a good place to blow away the cobwebs and plenty of free parking.

Well worth a visit, a bit spooky, its 15 / 20 walk along lanes from Tittensor - if using public transport. The Duke of Sutherland monument and Trentham shopping village are nearby.
