I know that this sounds like complete hyperbole, but Quatrehommme could possibly be the best Cheese shop in the world, certainly in Paris. Why? Well to start with, it is not the biggest, nor does it have the widest selection of cheeses in the world, but every cheese in the shop (and it does offer non-French one) is extraordinary. However, the real attraction is the staff. Especially if you speak French. Lyrical does not come close. They are affable and courteous, passionate, and infinitely knowledgeable about the cheeses on offer. Should you require information on any of them, you will be rewarded with an epic recitation of the cheese's qualities: Taste, provenance, aroma, production methods, place of origin, qualities, characteristics and character to a point where one MUST have it. I have never visited this shop without learning something new about cheeses or cheese making. A rare example of the traditional Parisian neighborhood cheese shop. If in Paris and in need of cheese, this is the place to go. Warning: prepare to use French!

I stay in the area for business frequently and love coming to this family bakery. Don't expect any English to be spoken here- this is a locals spot to "grab and go" it's cash only and there's one man behind the counter or in the baking room- or his daughter! Monday-Friday they have "French Pizza!" On weekends, they bake more tarts and pies. You must try: pizza fromage, buerre croissant and croissant aux amandes. Pain aux chocolate is a hit as well. Obviously I come here a lot, take my word on the authentic goods!

There were so many beautiful handmade smocking embroidered dresses, and I could tell my daughter was happy and excited the moment she entered the store.
One of the three dresses I chose was a combination of gray and pink, and the manager explained the color scheme to me, which was a wonderful memory.
I will definitely stop by again when I travel to Paris!

Very friendly staff, very good food, our friends LOVED the hamburgers, and plenty to drink. We hung out here several times, during our stay and visited with many very friendly locals, who gave us great advice, and even saved us the pain of dealing with a train strike, that would have impaired our ability to make our flight.

People always say how the French are rude, etc...that has not been out experience, very much the opposite, and that was especially true here. FYI we don't speak French, but we do know a few words to be polite.

We look forward to returning here again...

I saw a great tip that this fromagerie offers vacuum sealing, perfect for if you're visiting Paris. I always find fromageries intimidating, I never know exactly what I want. The saleswoman was very patient with me and gave me a few small samples to help me decide on my purchase. You could buy pounds of cheese, it will travel well ;)

This isn't your average wine and spirits shop. Cave is gorgeous, it gives you a true French experience. The gentlemen who helped me was so knowledge and poised. He recommended an amazingggg bottle of red wine... the Saint-Joseph Sylvain Badel, 2015. It was smooth, elegant and velvety. They have a wide variety to choose from. What stood out to me the most, all the Rose! I wanted to buy every single bottle- the bottles and packing alone were so beautiful. I feel in love with this little shop. If you want to bring back a nice bottle of wine or champagne from Paris- definitely stop by, the selection and service is impeccable.
