What travelers are saying
- JilllianExton, UK1,770 contributionsLovely walking area. So flat. Taking in all the sights of Sitges passing lots of nice restaurants, bars and hotels. Already planning a trip back.Written January 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Marios GlykasNew York City, NY154 contributionsFor the past five years, September has held a special place in my heart as it marks the annual Bear Week, a gathering where friendships blossom and memories are made. Words alone cannot capture the magic of this tradition. It’s a time when I reconnect with my dearest companions, forging bonds that grow stronger with each passing year.
As I reflect on our adventures, I’m reminded of the countless joys we’ve shared – from cozy dinners at bear-themed restaurants to lively nights out at bars and clubs. And let’s not forget the soothing retreats to saunas and the leisurely chats over coffee at quaint cafes.
But amidst the hustle and bustle, there’s a serene oasis waiting for us – a small yet enchanting bear beach, where the waves whisper secrets and the sunsets paint the sky in hues of gold. Here, amidst the laughter and the gentle lapping of waves, we find solace and companionship.
Preparing for our seaside escapades, we stock up on essentials – a cooler filled with chilled beverages, snacks from the local mini-market, and a trusty beach umbrella to shield us from the sun’s rays. And for those seeking ultimate comfort, a beach chair becomes our loyal companion for the duration of our stay.
Yet, beyond the tangible comforts, it’s the intangible moments that truly enrich our experience. It’s the laughter that echoes across the shore, the shared stories that weave the fabric of our camaraderie, and the sense of belonging that warms our souls.
As we embrace each new year, I’m reminded that it’s not just about the destination, but the journey we take together. And in the company of kindred spirits, every moment becomes a cherished memory, etched forever in the tapestry of our lives.
So here’s to love, laughter, and lifelong friendships. May we continue to savor the simple pleasures, leaving envy at the door, and embracing life’s salty moments with open arms. Here’s to making a splash – together.Written March 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SydsoloSydney, Australia465 contributionsInteresting but quirky collection of glassware, tiles and artwork. Well worth a visit. Unusual to find a museum of this quality in a seaside town. Sitges is amazing and this museum reflects that.Written June 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Cherriesfan99Cheltenham, UK849 contributionsThe church of Sant Bartomeu dominates the seafront of Sitges, a powerful statement of Catholic power in whitewashed stone, The church was locked shut on the two occaisions we tried to visit.Written May 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - monkey210Glasgow, UK88 contributionsThis is a wonderful museum with lots of fantastic art from Spanish artists and artefacts from different periods. The museum is a treasure trove of pieces all are beautifully presented. I loved the room looking into the sea with the marble statues. It is breathtaking and worth a visit for this alone. I also got in for free as museums are free the first Wednesday of the month. Well worth a visit for art lovers.Written July 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Cherriesfan99Cheltenham, UK849 contributionsImpressive buildings encasing a narrow passageway, whuch extends outwards. Buiilt in and around 1917, so not as historic as it may seem. It is obviously an attractive area, and very busy and it is easy to see how Clough William-Ellis would have been inspiried to build Portmerion in cold North Wales.Written May 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sandra IHouston, TX95 contributionslast day in Sitges, Spain we booked a tour of Palau de Maricel. What a pleasant surprise! The only English tour that day so we were lucky to be there early to get a space. Others had booked online and were at the door when it opened. The tour was informative and thorough. The Palau was beautiful especially the terraces. We have been to Sitges many times and never knew about this. Book this if you are in Sitges. - Thomas VOakland, CA16,858 contributionsA big beautiful beach somewhat outside the center of town. If you want a lot of space and a lot of surf, this could be the place for you. A bit of a long walk from the center.Written October 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 4chillisAdelaide, Australia1,040 contributionsWe did the self-guided experience but guided tours are available. There was plenty of signage explaining the history of the wine and the location. A glass of wine is included in the ticket price. Very interesting! It is also a wine bar where you can purchase a glass of wine and a snack. The outdoor area is really nice.Written December 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tim HBrighton, UK91 contributionsWe've been meaning to come to this beach for many years but never put the effort in to get there. Today we did it, the effort was worth it. This beach is lovely but lacking in facilities. There is much more available space here compared to Balmins. But there's no cafe or other facilities. Take everything you need or want with you!Written June 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Thomas VOakland, CA16,858 contributionsWe did a little walking tour of this area, one of the loveliest in this beach town.
