- JaidaIsWalkingBologna, Italy32 contributionsMy first time skiing was definitely memorable here! Though it can be quite pricey, I was really impressed with the service. There were four of us in the group (three children and one adult), none of us with much skiing experience. Our instructor Claudia was incredibly patient and was absolutely amazing when we were all struggling. Other team members would even come past and help out or make conversation, making the whole experience enjoyable.Written January 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John East7 contributionsGreat selection of boards and very friendly staff. Prices are well below the average, all the staff speaks good enough English so it was easy to get everything I needed.Written February 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Antonio872 contributionsVery friendly and extremely professional, a School specialized in snowboard and ski discipline with the rental office next door for anyone who needs skiing and snowboarding gears, really easy to access, literally the first one from the car park, located on top of the Olimpia restaurant.
Teachers are really prepared to help you improve your riding level, the atmosphere it's great and on the weekend there's the apreski party at the Olimpia with music and drinks, which is quite nice.
Really recommend this place in Campo Felice!!!Written June 17, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was like a walk in the clouds! 2000 meters or 6-8,000 feet high in the mountains, An off road mountain climb in a beast of a classic Jeep followed with a sunset hike an Aperitivo in the mountain reserve: Monte Genzana (yes, the plant that the famous Genziana liquor is made from). Claudio is an expert mountain guide. I was very comfortable with everything. Even the washed out roads and night drive back down. Claudio is very "connected" and one with these mountains of Sulmona he grew up hiking and free skiing. Very gentle, professional and knowledgeable. I wish you all could have been there! Thank you Claudio for my first amazing evening in the mountains of Sulmona where my Grandfather was born. I will be back!Written July 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Annette WCincinnati6 contributionsI first discovered Exploring Abruzzo through a video on a FB page, where Andrew and Katya were enjoying a bike ride on the Trabocchi Coast. In the midst of planning a long-dreamed of trip to Abruzzo to discover more about my mother's family, I wanted biking to be a part of that trip. I learned a bit more about Andrew and Katya through their website, eventually connecting with them to help plot out a portion of a two-week excursion through Abruzzo. The first leg of our trip was focused on Spoltore, where my mother's family lived, but the remainder, I left up to Andrew and Katya. Through a number of emails and Zoom calls, we nailed down an itinerary that was the "best of" Abruzzo. Andrew was our adventurous, fun-loving, storytelling guide for four days in which we hiked around the Grand Maiella, ate too much cheese, drove through the roads of the regions like professional race car drivers (haha), hiked the Campo Imperatore to get a look at the sea, tread through old ruins and castles, and were fortunate to gain entrance into some amazing towers and other structures that only an "insider" like Andrew would know about or could accomplish. They have friends everywhere, and the accommodations were always unique and comfortable, with generous hosts wherever we went. I am certain we will remain friends, because that is the Abruzzese way, but also because Andrew and Katya want their guests to love Abruzzo in the same way they fell in love with the region!Written October 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
