Nice area in Milan, Italy to eat, shop, and look around. Well lit at night and early in the morning, so it’s a good place to take a walk or jog or enjoy the well maintained scenery.

Bosco Verticale, literally translated as Vertical Forest, is a complex of 2 residential skyscrapers with its distinctive feature of more than 2,000 species of trees and tall shrubs dressing its entire facade. In a world where climate change is becoming a pressing issue, such building will certainly please the climate advocates. This beautiful award-winning building is off-limit to the general public, so we can only admire its structure and take some photos. It is clearly visible from the Biblioteca degli Alberi park in the urban rejuvenated district of Porta Nuova, which is an ideal spot for your photo opportunity.

Stunning gallery - the sheer size and scale of the installations is awe inspiring. A real pleasure on all the senses with a poignant message. Plus it’s free entry - highly recommend a visit - allow about 1.5-2 hrs

Wow! A little out of the way and a little disorganized (in terms of waiting on line) but WOW when you get to the top. Beautiful views. Incredible to think it's been open since 1933. Enjoy.

Beautiful sculpture, frescoes, paintings in this church.

Stunning chapel down a flight of stairs behind the building. Staircase is on the right side of the building, when facing the building.

So worth a visit if you're nearby. Many popular restaurants in the neighborhood, as well as lots of street art

Wonderful outdoor dining experience. Lots of energy and the staff is attentive. It’s hidden away off the main drag and nestled next to the store. Food is tasty and consistent.

We always shop for wine at the Enoteca Vinicola Rotondi during our frequent visits to Milano. The owner and his family are friendly and highly knowledgeable about wines and spirits. The broad selection of Italian wines include selections from every region including smaller but first class producers. We just consumed a unique and delicious bottle of Pinot Noir from the Val D'Aosta recommended by the proprietor. Located in Isola at Piazzale Lagosta, no wine lover should pass up the chance to shop in this delightful store.

Built in 2002 to host the shows of Teatro alla Scala during the renovation of the ancient theater , the stage has the same dimensions as the Scala theater in order to use the same sets , it’s now used for several shows, operas and musical concerts.

As the green lung of the rejuvenated Porta Nouva district, Biblioteca degli Alberi (literally translated as Library of Trees) lives up to its name with its rich variety of plants uniquely set out on a layout featuring geometric design of interlacing paths, play area and koi fish pond. Perfect place to stroll, relax and enjoy the view of Milan’s modern skyscrapers in all its glory.

Nice area to visit during the day, morning, afternoon, and evening. Lots of bars, cafes, and restaurants conveniently located including shops and a couple of pharmacies. I passed by here a few times, once on my way to the Duomo and a couple times early in the morning for a nice jog. Love that I could connect to free WiFi while I was in the area.

Modern architecture. In another city you might be delighted but in Milan the buildind is losing to the masters of the Renesanse period. It is part of a new business and financial center of the city, built of wooden frames and a glass shell without a column in its interior.

Great experience! We were quite lucky, because there was only one visitor at the time of our own visit so we were able to see the things without waiting and with our on pace. It was so much fun when we made our own movie posters, dubbed movies, took pictures with E.T and made some movie music. The guy who introduced the museum was enthusiastic and helped us a lot with different activities. He made our visit unforgettable!
