- Tanya PMaidstone, UK191 contributionsThis is bucket list stuff! We had a wonderful few hours on the water, saw many more dolphins than we had expected to, the crew were lovely gave us lots of information about the dolphins and their habitat. We only just got to the boat before it left due to parking issues, we thought we could park at the marina, however it’s not public parking. We spent 30 minutes looking for a space and found one in the piazza Garibaldi which is just under a mile away from where the boat leaves, make sure to leave plenty of time to find a place to park!Written September 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - elinorfuPetah Tiqwa, Israel32 contributionsThere's nothing to do there, Drove hour and a half for a picture. Just took a few photos and drove away.Written October 3, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- michelleE7917BBProvince of Taranto, Italy4 contributionsA truly unique and beautiful wetland oasis, full with of exotic plants, birds and marine life. The WWF tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, energetic and dedicated to protecting this area and sharing it with everyone for free! This is definitely a must-do when visiting Taranto! You can arrange all kinds of fun activities in the water such as kayaking, canoeing, birdwatching, and more. I highly recommend this beautiful and important natural attraction, slightly off the beaten path! Not only is it beautiful and fun, but I think it gave a really important understanding of all the different contradictions of Taranto. We organised a kayaking trip with Fabio from WWF and he was extremely friendly and passionate. I recommend contacting him if you have any questions.Written August 28, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jonny SLondon, UK26 contributionsWe had a proper adventure here! The walking is gorgeous, the paths are pretty well signposted from the WWF centre, even if they aren’t always that well trodden.
Finding it, though - whole other matter! You can drive to the centre ( we saw a car up there) but if you try to follow google maps from the south you won’t get there. We ended up parking when the dirt track got narrow, walking the rest of the way, climbing round a locked gate to get there. It didn’t spoil our visit at all - in fact it made it all the more fun - but this wasn’t a simple trip!Written May 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. So greenery and beautiful trees, from some part of that park sea view and area for childrens play. Nice place to spend some hours.Written May 15, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- OJRVerwoodVerwood, UK72 contributionsSoft sandy, gradually slipping beach with friendly staff and good drinks. Was great fun with 2 young boys. Parked locally off the road for 6 Euro. highly recommended.Written August 12, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SzczRobChicago, IL199 contributionsThis park was just a mostly flat field of grass between large residential sections. There were no notable features but a walking circuit including some sculpture installations. There were a few people walking their dogs. It was a quiet space, a little calming after spending the afternoon walking the streets.Written April 19, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
