My mom and I visited Sardinia in the off-season, and this cooking class was the highlight of our trip! Damiano was so prepared and thoughtful, and he made our time so fun (and tasty)!

Delicious fun! My husband and I booked this experience in hopes of learning a bit more about making homemade pasta and the Sardinian way of life. We learned a lot and enjoyed the hands-on aspect of making our own pastas. We got to bring home the recipes and definitely plan to make them again. At the end of our class, we enjoyed a complete lunch that included both of the pastas that we made. It was special to us in that we got to meet the family in their own home with a limited number of people. Excellent!

A wonderful, authentic experience, making pasta and shaping bread with a super friendly Sardinian family. We had a great evening before sitting down to a fabulous meal together. Would highly recommend! 😊

Really enjoyed the experience and to find out possibly why so many people in Sardinia live to a good age. Everything needed was provided and whether you go on your own, as a couple or a group you are bound to be captivated and inspired by the whole thing.

We really enjoyed the tour- got to try many different kinds of cheese (actually so much that we couldn't even finish all the samples and took some home) and participated in making our own ricotta. Our sweet guide showed us all around the factory and told us all about how their cheese is being made.

We knew nothing about olive oil until our recent visit here.
The owner and his staff were brilliant, explaining everything about harvesting and processing the olive oil.
We were taught how to taste the oil and what to expect when we did.
The museum was interesting, giving a glimpse of the hard work it took to produce the oil in the past.
    Well worth a visit!

The cooking course takes place in a beautiful B’B in cosy Banari. The day was adjusted to our wishes. After a very warm welcome we went to a paneria and heard a bit about their business. Afterwards we started with making pasta. We had such a great time. The whole family was involved. Even the nonna joined at one point and showed us how to make Banari Gnocchetti. Our son Jona was entertained by everyone. We felt so welcome and learned a lot. The food was great. We can definitely recommend the course and a visit to the B&B s’Asilo. Thank you so much.

This was clearly the best grand finale to our Sardinia vacation that we could have asked for. Ovan was prepared for and helped us to learn to make pasta dough and 5 different shapes of pasta, including Sardinian ravioli. During this time, he taught us the details of storage and cooking pasta , how to make plant based coloring and sauces. We learned a good deal about nutrition and farming practices. He then sat us at a table with a grand view of the mountains and served us a 4 course dinner with the pasta we had made. This fabulous memory will stay with us forever.

We had an amazing time with Elena cooking, listening to music, learning about Sardinian culture and, of course, eating and drinking together. I would recommend this to anybody who wants to enjoy, learn, and have amazing conversation, made all that much easier by having cooking be the focus. What a great experience!
