We stumbled upon this stunning piece of history by chance, and I'm really glad we did.

All the guide books pooh pooh Porto Torres!
We discovered a very picturesque port town with friendly people and nice restaurants.
We had 4 hours to explore while waiting for our ferry.
Unlike some other small cities in Sardinia with rampant ugly urban sprawl, Porto Torres was a breath of fresh air.

Old bridge situated near the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, is built in 1871. It connects the center of Bosa with the ancient district of the Sas Conzas tanneries. It provides beautiful views of the village and is good place for quick photo.
