Excellent selection and was treated very well. Better prices than in northern Italy for similar objects.

This antique gallery is a mix of exquisite furniture, neoclassic and renaissance painting and artifacts. All is displayed with exquisite balance, the owner has a detailed and deep knowledge of each piece on display.
    Not to miss it.

We found this lovely antiques store in the backyard off Via Etnea.
A great selection of ceramics (a lot of famous ceramic artist Simone), silver ware, jewellery fashion, vintage handbags, porcellaine.... The prices are fair and the products of high quality.

The very nice owner invited us to a coffee and we sat together in front of her shop and had a nice little chat.

A visit here will be mandatory for me on each of my future Catania trips!

Whenever we're in Siracusa we make it a point of stopping by Il Trovatore. There's a good bit of architectural salvage and while much of it would be difficult to bring home on the plane it's always fun to look at the tiles, the reclaimed doors and windows, and sculpted pieces such as finials and lintels. The owner couldn't be nicer and we like visiting with the menagerie of strays they've taken in. It's located just before the cemetery on the way out of town.
