This was a Christmas gift for my mum & me - a hot stone massage, facial and afternoon tea with fizz!

Overall a great few hours of pampering. My masseuse (Dimitri) was absolutely amazing, he talked softly when needed and maintained a firm pressure throughout the massage which is a rarity as often the pressure starts to dwindle as the massage proceeds (in my previous experience!)

Afternoon tea was delicious with just the right amount of food, the fizz added the sparkle!

Only slight criticism was the 45 mins “welcome drink time allocation”. This was somewhat too long as we were keen to just get on!!
A lovely day, thank you 😊

Lovely place and followed the same experience I had in Turkey. lovely smells, warm and relaxing. Taken to our changing room then onto the shower before entering the sauna. After 10/15 mins or so then go into the bath room where you lay on a marble table and they pour warm water over you, give a good body scrub and apply foam which smells lovely, then rinse you off. After this we then went in the relaxation room before going into the massgae room. I was asked if the pressure was ok and as i have previous back complaints they took that into consideration. After this we then went back to the relaxation room with a hot drink amd turkish delight. Didnt feel rushed and all the staff were friendly. We will be going back.

What a delightful experience! My Son had booked us both a spa day as a treat for Mothers Day. It is the first time I have visited this Hotel/Spa. What a beautiful place!! I was welcomed by 3 beautiful friendly smiles at the reception are of the spa and where I was handed my towels flip flops and lovely soft robe. The place was beautiful,I felt a nice relaxing vibe about the place.Once we were in the thermal pool we were approached by another beautiful smile who introduced herself as Beth, she was so friendly and quickly took our drink orders and was back with them before we knew it. She was very attentive and always made sure we were ok for drinks etc.We had such a lovely relaxing time, my favorite experience was the outside thermal pool so relaxing and loved the feeling of the light rain on my skin whilst being in a toasty warm pool. Upon leaving I had a lovely chat with the girls on reception and asked for their names as I feel that people who go out of their way make you feel welcomed should be appreciated thanks to Ashlea,Emily, Saskia and of course Beth for a fantastic experience you are a great team and asset to Hope Street Spa. I can't wait to visit again!!!

    Simply amazing!

Had the most amazing hot stone massage today from Chokie. Not my first time here and all other times have been equally amazing.

Might have to make this into a monthly visit!

I went to the chill out for a spa day on 22nd Dec after being diagnosed with breast cancer in Oct and only 9 days post surgery. Laura was a trained cancer therapist. She made me comfortable for the first time in 9 days. I had a full body massage and facial using Jennifer Young products. It was a fabulous day. I actually thought I may get short changed because of the limitations with my surgery and diagnosis but absolutely not. I cannot recommend enough. Thank you Laura.

A good spa but slightly pricey and busy. Not really enough facilities such as loungers by the pool and hair dryers, mirrors in the women’s changing room. The relaxation room didn’t appear to be heated so was a bit chilly after the pool.

On the plus side the treatments were brilliant. The staff were very professional and experienced.

Amazing experience. I would highly recommend this to help switch off for an hour. Pods are lovely and very private.
I would like to have had the choice of listening to relaxing music for the whole time but that's me and I will take an additional towel for my hair after the float next time I go.

A friend and I booked a girls’ get-away spa weekend in Liverpool. We added a couple of afternoon teas, massages and spa time, and a play in the evening.

After reviewing massage options in Liverpool, we chose Eforea Spa. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating and the facilities (other than the spa) were quite nice.

The lockers in the change room were a bit fiddly to lock and unlock, and several didn’t work at all. We ended up showing people who arrived after we did how to work them. The robes were quite small (like they had shrunk in the wash or were for small, teenage girls) but the towels were nice and large. They provide disposable slippers, as well.

The pool area was small but clean with a few lounges for sitting. The large vent on the back wall above the pool, however, looked quite bad. Not sure if it was just old and needed replacing but it looked really grimy like it needed a good power wash. The jacuzzi was in a tiled room so was totally closed in with nothing to look at.

The massage therapists were sweet. Neither introduced themselves and both seemed to be very early in their training/careers as they were not very experienced. There was no choice of essential oils for the massage… The massages were poor to mediocre at best. I had one arm done and the other forgotten and my lower back done on one side but not the other. There was a lot of patting, a couple of rubs, and then a few more pats. No regular massage rhythm that you could relax into. You never knew where they were going to be the next time they touched you. My friend’s experience was similar. Her therapist told her she had a scar on the back of her leg. My friend replied that, of course, she knew. The therapist asked what it was from, and my friend replied she had a varicose vein removed. The therapist asked why. I mean, seriously?? It was just not a relaxing experience at all.

I wanted to love it! I went in prepared for a lovely, relaxing massage. Sadly, that was not the case. I cannot recommend the Eforea at a £50 price point, never mind an experience costing £99 which is definitely on the very high end of massage pricing. It was very disappointing, and I would not go again.

My wife and I have just returned from a two day break at the Crown Plaza, accompanied by 10 friends for a 70th birthday celebration. The experience from start to finish was wonderful. The staff are efficient, friendly and professional. A big shout and special mention to waiter Daniel and the young lady who worked the bar and meals service during the 2nd 3rd December you were both amazing. We were a large and at times a demanding group and you handled the service most efficiently, always with a cheerful smile and friendly approach. Management take note your training works,

I visited north spa yesterday with my partner. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome from Chris and Katherine. I then had a lash lift, eyebrow wax and mini facial with Kate. I was so pleased with the results and she listened to exactly what I wanted. She was lovely to chat to and created a relaxing atmosphere.

My partner had a half hour sports massage with Chris which relieved an ongoing issue/pain in his shoulder.

We've visited north spa a few times and I've always had a warm and positive experience and couldn't recommend enough!!

Chris and Katherine the owners are so passionate about the well-being of not only their customers but also their staff. I always leave feeling so positive and pampered. The prices are reasonable and I always feel that the spa uses really good products.

Will definitely be returning for another pamper morning!

    Thankyou for the lovely treatments!!
