- Deb WReno, NV2,571 contributionsThis is just a stunning area. The water is clear and the beach is lovely. The colors of the water are mesmerizing.Written June 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 975manrey975Zurich, Switzerland245 contributionsWhat else do you need besides an overwhelming view, friendly staff, a fine house wine, and all this on a romantic summer evening? Food. And fantstic food you get: "Emozioni & Sapori", run by Rosina and Giorgio, offers all of it. Try ALTA MAREA, FRITTURA DI CALAMARE E CALMARETTI, FILETTO DI OMBRINA E PISTACCHI AND TIRAMISU and you will feel like in italian paradise.Written July 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Karen FKingston-upon-Hull, UK22 contributionsGood fun. Well maintained and organised.
Plenty more sun beds since last visit- which is a great improvement.
We’ve been a few times now and it is probably time for a new slide but overall pretty good day outWritten August 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s going to be live with actors and live animals. A spectacle in itself. I’m impressed!Written November 25, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LSQ68Montreal, Canada16 contributionsVery cute beach town, great places to eat by the beach and close to it. Plenty of cute shops around .Written August 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SteveageRexburg, ID3,271 contributionsOriginally a church built in Augustinian Order in 1266. Only the front wall lasts since the 14th century, including a beautiful stone, rose window. The interior is ok, Compared to the thousands of other amazing churches in Italy this one is ho-hum.
The interior was reworked in a neo-Gothic style in 1853. In the same year, the name of the church was changed to San Giuseppe in honor of Napoleon’s brother, who was at that time the king of Naples. The best, most interesting, and well worth a long gaze is the triptych from 1505.Written December 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This beach is 5 KM, about a ten minute drive north from Vasto. You park in a car park area, then hike about 20 minutes down (at times) a decently steep dirt trail. We crossed new construction on a road, so (for better or for worse) maybe roads will go closer to this beach one day. The beach is straight up all rocks, about the size of your fist. My kids jumped off a gargantuan rock just off the shoreline. No services here. Where water socks if your feet are at all sensitive. Water is warm and clear, just like around the corner at Spiaggia di Vasto Marina.Written January 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dana SForked River, NJ26 contributionsOur group went to lunch on the trabucco. You walk out over the Adriatic on a raised walk. The restaurant nets up fresh seafood and serves what they catch. I had a wonderful octopus salad for a starter. A large bowl of seafood was brought to the table with an amazing broth. Local wine was served along with terrific bread. What a remarkable experience.Written May 30, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- M Bentley2 contributionsHard to say what our favorite part was! Starts with our wonderful B&B Mille una Notte - perfectly located between the beach and the bustling Centro Stories. The Centro had fantastic restaurants and stunning views of the Adriatic. Be sure to visit Dusk, a music bar that makes killer negronis! Don't miss the Palace D'Avalos and the lovely paintings of the region from the 1700s, and the beautiful gardens overlooking the bay. We also loved our beach days. Again, great restaurants with big umbrellas and friendly staff. The cool turquoise waters are a delight.Written August 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Bruce CTwinsburg, OH994 contributionsThere is a 1 km paved road from the parking area to the lookout and beach. There is a steep incline at the end but not a problem unless you need an assistive walking device. The views are spectacular. We also saw some wild boar but could not get a phpto because it was after sunset.Written August 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
