What travelers are saying
- Raoul RongenSittard, The Netherlands996 contributionsOn our way from Bastia to Bonifacio we stopped at this beach because it is one of the most famous beaches of Corsica.
Parking was free and on couple of minutes walk to the beach. Beach is beautiful, sand has a nice colour, water is beautiful and calm and the unique trees on the background gives it a gorgeous setting.
There is no natural shade on the beach so bring something along. There are some sun beds for rental but only around 10/15 while the beach is very populair. At least that was the case on the side we where (Nord side).
There is a beach bar with serves drinks and some food.Written August 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Well worth going to.Written October 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sabrina7 contributionsWe find Santa Guilia better than Palombaggio Beach.
The water is calm, clear and shallow for quite a long distance. Perfect for children.Written October 2, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The route is well marked and certainly the first 3/4s of the route is very easy - moderate
However I would recommend at the bare minimum a good pair of well fitting trainers.
The point at which you reach the decent down to the waterfall and end of supported decent is quite challenging ( it had rained and the weathered granite can be slippery)
If you’re not used to such descents a bit of advice keep your feet parallel to the slope so that should you slip your body weight doesn’t go forward ( use your hands on rocks and rails )
It’s great to get to the waterfall and it’s well worth the journey
There are beautiful views all the way along the route and the alpine flowers quite beautiful.
A good level of fitness is required and it would at some points be classified hard ( most is moderate)
The lovely cafe is most welcome after the exertions!Written May 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Incredible delicious buffet on the Sunday. No swimming pool and rooms are not huge. Floating water deck with sunbeds was special. Amazing service as they called me by my name as soon as I walked through the door. Nice breakfast. We loved the deck by the bar and having drinks there as the sun set. Classy, quiet boutique hotel.Written September 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- JLTfromDallasDallas, TX68 contributionsBeautiful small (sand and rock) beach accessible after a 30 min walk from the road, or by boat. - DameGrenade145 contributionsThis was a great 2 hours outdoors activity with my kids. Laëtitia (the owner) has all prepared so that children can enjoy and learn about farm animals (chicken, rabbits, geese, duck, pig, horse).
It was even fun for adults.
She help kids feed the animals with patience.
I definitely recommend this kind lady’s farm.Written September 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My kids feel sick when traveling on small roads with curve, and this was one of them. So when we stopped, they just wanted to walk slowly or sit a bit. Scenery just before this is beautiful. Easy to access, nice view from the middle.Written October 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- D CNice, France16 contributionsEnjoy the pine forest the incredible view from l'Ospédale, the lake and the woods.
Please take care of the forest.
Don't let trash in the bush!
Dont'drop any cigarette (or cigar) in the forest.Written July 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You have to be ready to walk about 20 minutes through an area without shade, so this is not a beach I would recommend for families with younger kids. Also, you have to be fine with nude people, as the spot seems to be quite popular with nudists.
Furthermore, there is quite a lot of algae on the beach, but you should be able to find a 'clean' spot for yourself.Written July 2, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
