What travelers are saying
- Candy W39 contributionsThe exterior of the Basilica of St Peter and St Paul is dark and foreboding, but step inside and you are transported. It is like walking into a storybook with floor to ceiling art nouveau murals. I have been in countless churches and cathedrals, but have never seen anything quite like this.
The complete grounds of Vysehrad are fascinating as well and provide beautiful vistas across the river to Prague Castle.Written January 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dom O4 contributionsSome nice views of the city on the way up and down. Not the most beautiful park but a nice break from the hustle of the city... also you get to see some of the more communist era buildings on the far side to remind you of the dichotomy of the history of this amazing country. Definetly worth an hour out of your day.Written March 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Lisa WWichita Falls, TX962 contributionsThese gardens are so beautiful and peaceful. It is almost like going to a botanical garden and a zoo. We saw many different plants, along with peacocks and owls. We saw the white peacock but not up close. - Josie IinoCambridge, UK132 contributionsThis was fun! The park itself is beautiful, and most importantly, there was a peacock roaming around. I remember seeing the peacock jump up and down a bush; it added a regal, majestic, and whimsical feeling to the trip. I think kids would really enjoy seeing the peacock. The actual garden itself is also quite beautiful and very easy to pair with the castle.Written September 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
