Sky train service to airport. Ease of use and a pleasant alternative to travelling by taxi. Affordable and efficient.
Ticket staff extremely helpful at stations

Using the subway (MRT) is an easy and inexpensive way to travel around Bangkok. Getting a card is less expensive than buying a token each time. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. There is no traffic and to save the time….

The bus terminal is huge and is messy. Need to walk a lot to go to the main entrance. Waiting for them to move to Bang Sue station.

Took the local train to Mahachai from Wongwian Yai in Bangkok for a fun adventurous day trips adventurous because you never know how things will go when travelling on a Thai train.

With only minutes delay, our train left off. Travelling through back gardens of people. Leaving Bangkok and heading towards the small port town of Mahachai. Originating as a goods train to transport local produce from the fresh markets back to Bangkok, this train now has a commuter function which only.

When travelling with young children: do not expect anything to be step free and prepare for some lifting of prams as trains have very high bogies. Airconditioning is provided by means of opening the windows and a fan. Nowadays you can also buy a ticket at the conductor and pay with card.

You can travel further onwards to the (in)famous Talad Rom Hub (Maeklong Railway Market) if you take the ferry to Tha Chalom.

All in all we had a wonderful day and our older one really loved it!

Best to book the coach/bus online a few days before needed as just turning up can be a disappointment. Was easy to find and get to. Waiting is outside in the shade but bring mozzy spray for flies. Easy to get ticket .

The BRT is kinda like a bus/metro hybrid. It's a bus with a fixed schedule that runs in dedicated lanes so very little traffic delay.

Tickets are a flat 15 baht fee regardless of distance. There are ticket machines and customer service booth. They have clean waiting areas and English/Thai information displays.

It's really easy to use. Connects to Chong Nonsi BTS and Talat Phlu BTS.

It can get crowded and busy but everyone respects the space and nobody pushes (unlike in China)

Very impressive system. 6am-11.40pm. Runs every 10-20 mins depending on day/time

This is a specialised bus terminal just for Nakhonchai Air buses which mainly travel between Bangkok and northern cities such as Chiang Mai. Certain sections have air-conditioning.

The nearest BTS is Mo Chit station and you can take either bus #3 or #77 to go there.

Inside the bus terminal, there are several inexpensive food stalls and 711 shop. The seats inside the bus terminal are comfortable and you can get free 1 hour wifi.

What's the difference between this and Mo Chit bus terminal? Mo Chit bus terminal handles all bus companies and is very crowded.
